The words «frag» and «bastich» were invented for the character of Lobo as to circumvent comic book censorship back in the 1990s. However, in this movie, Lobo frequently says the word «shit», making the self-censoring superfluous. However, «frag» and «bastich» have become iconic words of the character and therefore can't be taken away without being unfaithful to one of the rudest characters in the DC Universe.
The sound used for Lobo's space bike is the characteristic sound produced by Harley-Davidson V-Twin motors, overlaid with some science fiction noises. The chugging of the engine, however, is unmistakable seeing as Harley-Davidson wanted to patent the sound in the 1990s.
Lobo mentions Earth being in Sector 2814. This is a reference to Green Lantern lore, where all of known space has been divided up into 3600 sectors. Each sector is being patrolled by one Green Lantern at least. Earth is in Sector 2814.
