Another star in the making.
A young Busker is attacked in a hit and run, Sergeant Boyden suspects his landlord, the only source is a reluctant fellow Tennant.
Pretty good this, it's perhaps not as good as some of the recent episodes, but it's still a good story, and of course is well known for one reason in particular.
James McAvoy is terrific here as a young Gavin Donald, naturally the main appeal of this episode is the early appearance of the incredible Scot, and he doesn't disappoint, of course it's a very early role for him, but his quality is very much evident.
Almost a shame this wasn't developed, and told over an hour, it would have worked better.
Pretty good, 7/10.
