A homeless man is badly beaten up, apparently by a Security Guard, the trouble is he has a conviction for assaulting a Policeman.
It's a good episode, it's certainly very different, you can see the conflict Dave is feeling by trying to help someone, someone who's broken the cardinal rule, assaulting a Policeman.
There's a definite degree of originality about this one, I really did enjoy it, it feels very different to any other episode I've seen. It tries to explore an entirely different culture, and it does so quite successfully I thought.
Eoin McCarthy is good here as Cal, he looks the part, and his performance is certainly sincere. The clashes between Dave and Cal were great.
Very gritty, very good, 8/10.
