Fortia Somatos' name comes from the Latin "Fortia" and Greek "Somatos", which together mean body strength, a summary of the short film and a statement of intent of its filmmaker.
In the first finale, the mutant, after escaping, fought against two guards, then was shot and Tania cried over his body. Due to equipment problems and spending all the budget, they could not shoot the last scenes and Pedro Jaén R. wrote a new ending, mysterious and hopeful, and more in tune with the psychological aspect of the script.
Pedro Jaén R. had to grow long hair and fingernails, wear a feminine hairstyle (which he hid under a cap), learn to walk in high heels and move like a woman.
The veteran actor Juan Antonio Quintana taught acting classes at home to Pedro Jaén R. and conducted the tests.
