- TriviaGloria makes a comparison of Fred Flintstone and Archie, ironically Sally Struthers did the voice of Pebbles Flintstone on The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show (1971-1976).
- GoofsThis is the first time Archie is seen shaving. He is using an old style straight razor. These razors are designed to be kept and resharpened for a lifetime (or longer). In the past, Archie has come downstairs with bits of toilet paper on his face complaining about Edith using his razor and dulling it, and Mike joking about Archie trying to get "one last shave" out of it. Indicating that Archie uses a regular disposable blade.

Mike Stivic: Why are you so cruel to midgets? What have they ever done to you?
Archie Bunker: Oh very little.

Mike and Gloria's final dinner with Archie and Edith
Edith is planning a big dinner for Mike and Gloria's farewell but Mike gets an invitation from his new boss for dinner at the Plaza Hotel.
Another episode that tries hard to be funny but is only mildly amusing. It starts off with a scene in the bathroom where all four characters end up. Mike even admits to Archie that he loves him, which is strange because that was handled as a bigger dramatic moment in the next and last episode of the season. There are few amusing bits where Archie and Mike argue at the dinner table for the last time. Oh well, just one more episode and this miserable Season 8 will finally be over.
