- TriviaJohn Kricfalusi was furious with the live-action title sequence Games Animation added and the first comment he made for the DVD commentary of this episode was "Get that s*** out of my cartoon!".
- GoofsWhen Ren's cousin, Sven, is at the door introducing himself, Ren is shown with his eyes open. In the next shot, his eyes are closed.
- Quotes
Ren: You! Both of you! Oh, what I'm gonna do to you. I'm so angry! First, I'm gonna tear your lips out. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do. And then I'm gonna gouge your eyes out. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.
Stimpy: We don't like this, Ren.
Svën Höek: Yeah, you's scary us.
Ren: Yeah, you're scared, huh? Next, I'm gonna tear your arms out of the sockets. And you wanna know what else? I'm gonna hit ya, and you're gonna fall, and I'm gonna look down, and I'm gonna laugh. But first, FIRST! I gotta take a whiz, don't you go anywhere, you stay right here, right on this spot, I'll be back.
- Alternate versionsOriginally, the scene where Stimpy and Sven close the closet door continued with additional dialogue about them playing circus in Stimpy's litter box. Nickelodeon never aired the original scene because of the suggestive nature of the dialogue. Another scene that was cut in the Nickelodeon airings was when Ren threatened to gouge Stimpy's and Sven's eyes out. Both scenes are restored on DVD. The episode was pulled from reruns in the 2010s for disturbing and violent content.
- ConnectionsFeatured in The Ren & Stimpy Show: Double Header/The Scotsman in Space (1995)
Of course, all this build-up and expectation can only be false for Ren, and when Sven arrives, the promise of any "stimulation" for Ren is lost when we see Sven stupidly facing the wrong way when the door is opened.
Throughout the episode, Ren is portrayed as the working man. We see him arrive home from work only to be confronted with a pair of childish imbeciles, who have been busy defacing his house and his possessions. Sven is Stimpy in every way.
The climax involves a hilariously titled board-game, mixed with a very disturbing (and decidedly child unfriendly) scene where Ren threatens the two with various kinds of torture. (I noticed an added scene here on my "Unleashed DVD"). This episode is great stuff.
