An atypically sweet episode, enlivened by several memorable guests: Megan Gallivan is quite winsome as the girl Finch likes (surprisingly, this appears to be her final acting role), Leslie Sachs does well with only a couple lines, and Rhonda Palmer practically takes over the episode with her one scene. JSM was just coming into full swing by this time, and "The Walk" is a fresh detour from their usual who-can-outsmart-who zingers and catty comments (not that we don't get some of those as well).
