- TriviaThe poem that Fraser is reciting at the end as he lies on the train platform is 'The Windhover' by Gerard Manley Hopkins.
- GoofsVictoria's hairstyle changes at least four times in the last 30 minutes. In the strip club, it's loose and curly; when she calls Fraser from the pay phone it's curly but pulled back from her face; in the car with Fraser after he goes through with the diamond swap it's straightened, loose, and parted on the side; and then minutes later at the train station it's back to curly and pulled back from her face.
- Quotes
Mr. Vecchio: [after Ray has bailed Fraser out] You'll never see that money again.
Det. Ray Vecchio: Pop, I'm warnin' you, stay out of this.
Mr. Vecchio: I leave you my house, this is what you do with it!
Det. Ray Vecchio: Don't you have things to do in hell or wherever you are?
Mr. Vecchio: Purgatory, for my sins I gotta watch you make stupid mistakes. And who gave you permission to use my pool table?
Det. Ray Vecchio: Give it a rest, Pop!
- Alternate versionsIn the originally broadcast two-hour episode "Victoria's Secret", the CTV and CBS versions differed slightly with commercial placement. The CTV broadcast showed a concluding scene for the first hour that showed Victoria leaving Ray's house to go to the zoo, with the scene involving Jolly introducing the second hour.

Diefenbaker does not escape either. He is shot.
The culprit in all this is Victoria. She is a nasty girl and fits up both Ray and Benton so Internal Affairs gets involved when some stolen cash is found.
Meanwhile Victoria has more stolen cash to plant and is arranging to exchange some black market diamonds. She needs Benton to help her and coerce him if she needs to.
As the first series heads to its season climax. Benton finds himself being manipulated so easily by Victoria.
It's Ray though who might have made an error of judgment in the final seconds of this story.
The shift in tone of this two parter ups the drama stakes. It just feels a little lost without the comedy.
