Mike gets a job in California
Mike finds out he got an associate professor's job in California and he and Gloria and Joey plan to move away.
Another mediocre Season 8 episode the start of departure of Mike and Gloria from the series. It has a silly moment where Edith has a message about the California job and Archie wants to take it from her, she slips it in her bra. Mike and Gloria enter when he is trying to get it from her, juvenile humor more suited to low class comedy shows like "Three's Company". The only bright spot to this episode is an appearance by Sherman Hemsley as George Jefferson, he and Archie spar back and forth for only a few minutes but it's reminder of better days on this series.
