- The last scene shows a grave for 2 fallen dogs, Jack and Dewey. This may be upsetting for young audiences
- There is a scene where the dogs are looking for food and find a frozen dead whale ( insides exposed nothing major) one of the dogs stars to eat the whale when a seal comes out of the whale. The dog begins to run away distracting the seal while the other dogs eat the whale , however the whale sees them creeps up and bites a dogs leg. The other dogs jump in biting the seal to help save the dog being bit . This is nothing to frightening however younger audiences might find it frightening.
- When Max attempts to eat a bit of a frozen whale, a snarling seal jumps out from inside the whale. This is a jump scare and may upset younger viewers.
- A dog falls down a hill and perishes.
