Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Jordan may be locked up in a maximum-security prison at the moment, but no one should count the villainess out for good.
Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) crafty escape-artist aunt has had quite the run in Genoa City since she first appeared in late 2023, and actress Colleen Zenk recently talked to Soap Opera Digest (Sod) about her character’s lock up in a cell within the Newman Ranch basement.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Colleen Zenk Talks Working With Eric Braeden
Colleen Zenk tells Sod that she had “so much fun” working with Eric Braeden as Victor tormented Jordan.
The two hadn’t gotten to work much when she first arrived on the Y&r scene, and Zenk reveals that her scenes with Braeden during Jordan’s Newman Ranch lock-up were among her favorites.
She notes a scene where Eric went off script.

Kendis Gibson, a veteran anchor who worked most recently for MSNBC, is jumping to a new role at CBS’ Miami station, Wfor, where he will anchor the morning and noon newscasts.
The move shows ViacomCBS bringing in new local staffers under Wendy McMahon, co-president of the company’s news and stations unit, and Gibson says he welcomed the chance to take on a wider range of reporting than he was able to do at MSNBC, where he was anchoring early mornings on weekends. “I wanted to get away from working in the hyper-partisan 24/7 political news space,” he tells Variety. “This is a good chance to anchor a newscast that covers the full gamut of the news cycle which I love, including world news, entertainment news, human interest stories and stories important to local communities — and in an awesome city with a big commitment to local news from the top down.

As “Love After Lockup” approached its premiere date on We TV in Jan. 2018, Matt Sharp — the reality guru founder of Industrial Media’s Sharp Entertainment, and the executive producer of “90 Day Fiancé” — had a feeling it was going to be a hit. The show follows couples who’ve met through prison dating websites who are trying to make the relationship work after the prisoner has been released. And as it got closer to airing, Sharp felt “bullish” because company staffers kept gathering “outside of the edit room, and poking their heads in,” he said in a recent interview.

Sharath Kumar, former Operations Head of Tamil Film Producers Anti-Piracy cell, recalls that a few hours before the release, they started scouring through social media, messaging platforms and scores of websites to see if the film had been leaked online. Within hours, as expected, TamilRockers — the most notorious movie piracy website — had uploaded a camera quality print of the film. Sharath and his team had their work cut out. They used takedown tools to block the prints, appealed to various domain registries to block as many sites, found...

CinemaOn a panel, Vetrimaaran and Hansal Mehta discussed the far reaching effects of representations that glorify police violence.Anjana ShekarIn a session hosted by National Law University, Delhi’s Project 39A on July 9, directors Vetrimaaran and Hansal Mehta spoke on the representation of custodial violence in Indian cinema. The subject is being hotly discussed following the custodial deaths of father-son duo Jayaraj and Bennix in Thoothukudi district of Tamil Nadu. The directors, having made award-winning films like Visaaranai and Shahid, spoke in great detail about the implications of portraying power and vigilante justice on screen. Indian cinema for years has glorified and placed the police on a pedestal. Films like Suriya’s Singam franchise and Kaakha Kaakha, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, Rani Mukerji’s Mardani and several others have more or less suggested that the only way to justice is the cop’s justice. Ladies and gentlemen, please enjoy this new episode of The B-Side, from The Film Stage. Here we examine movies from established movie stars that have flopped at the box office, been forgotten by time, or remain hidden gems. These aren’t the films that made them famous or kept them famous. These are the other ones.
And, man oh man, does Sly have a bunch of other ones. We cover one movie from each decade of the movie star’s career: his directorial debut Paradise Alley in 1978, the prison drama Lock Up from 1989, James Mangold’s Cop Land (1997), the remake Get Carter and, finally, Bullet To The Head from 2013.
We get a bad impression from podcast producer Conor O’Donnell and some sharp insight from our guest Chadd Harbold, an accomplished filmmaker with two films in theaters right now: Depraved, directed by Larry Fessenden, and Villains, starring Bill Skarsgård and Maika Monroe.

Watch your back, Hulu. IndieWire surveyed 15 network toppers this summer on a range of questions, including the show they’d most like to steal from a rival. The top show they coveted was easily Hulu’s “The Handmaid’s Tale,” the timely story of a totalitarian dystopia that is on track to potentially win the Outstanding Drama Series Emmy this month.
Execs also raved about a variety of other recent series, including the HBO documentary “The Defiant Ones,” about the relationship between billionaire music moguls Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre. And the network honchos were given a chance to single out an upcoming (or recently aired) show that they believe is destined to become a surprise hit. As the industry prepares for another fall season, here’s some insight into what TV’s top executives are thinking, and what’s concerning them most.

Most people know Sylvester Stallone from his legendary Rambo and Rocky roles, but it's easy to forget that between 1980 and 1995 he starred in some of the most beloved (and completely bananas) action and sci-fi movies of that era. Nighthawks, Cobra, Lock Up, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man, Judge Dredd, Assassins, and Daylight -- sure, nobody's saying these films belong anywhere near the AFI's top 100, but this stretch of work was Stallone at the top of his game. I strongly recommend Nighthawks (co-starring Billy Dee Williams), it's seriously one of the great unsung action films of the early 80s.
Of course, we all know about Kurt Russell's epic run of action and sci-fi during this same period (starting with Escape from New York and ending with Stargate). It's arguable who's the better actor, but you have to give Stallone the edge for cultural impact during the 80s and early 90s.

In the clip, the Hamilton creator brings his rap game to the Comedy Central series when he calls musical director Alex Lacamoire. “Lock up your horses and daughters, I’m getting f**ked up on the couch with [creator] Derek Waters,” Miranda raps in a bleep-heavy freestyle.
