- There are several innuendos scattered around the film, relating to a variety of subjects ranging from a couple's implied infidelity to a man's implied homosexuality. Some of the remarks are quite crass.
Violence & Gore

- Two women are found strangled, on separate occasions, with some bruising on their necks. This is not graphic and fairly unrealistic.
- A dead rabbit is briefly seen with its guts spilled and several maggots crawling about its corpse. This is very brief but pretty graphic, with the intention of shocking the audience.
- A woman is hit on the head with a rock, knocking her unconscious. This isn't graphic at all.
- A man is hit in the face. This isn't graphic, but he can be seen nursing the wound with ice in a subsequent scene.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Characters can be seen drinking, in a social context, and ordering specific cocktails. Some characters smoke. This reflects the period in which the film was made, and in which the story takes place.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The film is a murder mystery and, as such, revolves around the solving of a murder. There is nothing particularly graphic, though, and any violence or sight of bodies is kept brief.
- Some people might find the disembowelled body of a rabbit (see violence & gore) to be disturbing, though it is only on screen for a few seconds.
