When the film was colorized in 2000, the Yugoslav flag was miscolored, with green in the place of blue.
In part three, Private Dolas finds himself on a minefield. He throws a stick behind him, but a mine explodes in other place.
In part two at the end, Italian prostitutes cover their ears before shots can be heard.
In part two of the film, Private Dolas joins French Foreign Legion in Syria, then he is captured by the British troops, preparing to invade Syria and Lebanon (in June 1941), and so he finds himself in a British camp, presumably in Palestine. Then the camp is attacked by Italian commandos, which was possible, provided, that it was situated in western Egypt or Libya.
The timeline is consistent up to the moment, when Private Dolas is captured by the British forces, shortly before the British invasion on Syria (June 1941). Then he is captured by the Italian commandos, evacuated to Italy, captured by the Germans and sent to the East Front - and it is implied, that all these events last several weeks, no more than several months. But on the way to the front he escapes in central Poland, which after a few days is liberated by the Soviets - what happened only in mid-1944.
