During the five Qualifiers rounds of “American Song Contest,” all 56 participants competed for their chance of making it into the Semi-Finals. Two redemption artists were later added to the mix, bringing the total of semi-finalists to 22. With so many performances to keep track of, we’ve provided this handy-dandy cheat sheet of all of the “American Song Contest” semi-finalists. Re-watch performances of their original songs below.

The inaugural recipient of the Natalie Miller Fellowship is now at its helm, with Stan head of features and development executive, Rachel Okine, taking the reins following the departure of Sue Maslin.
Okine brings a wealth of experience within the film and television industry to the role, having previously served as vice president of international production and acquisitions at Studiocanal, vice president of international acquisitions at STX Entertainment, and managing director of Aquarius Films before joining Stan earlier this year.
Prior to this, she was a founding staff member of independent film distribution company, Hopscotch, initially working across publicity and marketing campaigns before expanding into development and production.
Okine said she “couldn’t be prouder” to take over from Maslin, who stepped down in May after serving on the management committee for more than 10 years.

The year is almost over. The Hargreeves kids have saved the world and Beth Harmon has checkmated her last opponent. But in its new releases for December 2020, Netflix still has some tricks up its sleeve.
For starters, Netflix is ending this most curious year with some promising original films. David Fincher’s long-awaited Mank arrives on Dec. 4 to fill us in on the story of Citizen Kane‘s screenwriter. Then on Dec. 11, Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and James Corden do their best musical impression with The Prom. Chadwick Boseman’s final film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom debuts on Dec. 18. Then George Clooney rounds out the month with The Midnight Sky on Dec. 23.
But of course, it’s in the original series realm where Netflix does most of its work. The biggest one comes at month’s end this December. The final season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on New Year’s Eve.

HBO isn't just home to our favorite fictional shows like Insecure and Euphoria; it's also known for its powerful documentaries. In 2020 alone, the network released a bevy of insightful projects - including Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind, McMillions, and I'll Be Gone in the Dark - and its latest documentary, The Vow, has sure left us with plenty of questions.
The Vow pulls back the curtain on Nxivm (a sex cult and a pyramid scheme that operated under the guise of a self-help group) and its founder Keith Raniere. The secret organization attracted followers such as celebrities and other public figures with promises of connection, compassion, and love. However, in March 2018, Raniere was arrested on several charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and forced labor conspiracy. A year later, he was convicted on all seven of the charges brought, and he faces a potential life sentence.

Actress Natalie Wood grew up, almost literally, onscreen. From her first credited role as little Margaret Ludwig in 1946’s “Tomorrow is Forever,” as the defiant Judy in 1955’s “Rebel Without a Cause,” and to the married Carol in 1969’s “Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice,” Wood embodied all the stages of not just growing up, but growing up as a woman. Much has been written about her, and nearly every year on the anniversary of her death the Lapd brings up her tragic drowning in the water off Catalina Island.
It is these tragic circumstances that immediately color HBO’s new documentary, “Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind.” Natasha Gregson-Wagner, Wood’s daughter, is the narrator and entry into Wood’s inner circle of husbands, friends, and children, hoping to tell more about the actress than just how she died, and it’s a valid crusade. Wood’s life has...

May isn’t quite summer yet but it is usually time that the networks start wrapping up their newest shows and preparing for a relatively fallow summer period. Since HBO isn’t a network, it has no such business model. But May sees the winding down of some HBO blockbusters all the same.
While there are some notable new releases for HBO in May 2020, the bigger story might be the things that are ending. Westworld concludes its third season on May 3 while new series Run wraps up on May 24. Thankfully the film losses in May aren’t too bad for HBO, unless the Agent Cody Banks saga drives a lot of traffic.
The most notable TV premiere in May is I Know This Much is True, a book adaptation starring Mark Ruffalo. This is a very bleak story coming along at a bleak time in history but perhaps those two things will cancel out.
