A former Philadelphian, Herbert Rudley left Temple University at the end of his second year, journeyed to New York and won a scholarship with Eva Le Gallienne's Civic Repertory Theatre. He made his first stage appearance in 1928 and went on to appear in many more plays, including the Judith Anderson-Maurice Evans "Macbeth" (with Rudley as Macduff). Oleg Safronov is a Soviet artist-animator, participated in the creation of about 100 Soviet animated films. The artist of the animated film Pictures from the Exhibition (1984), the art director of the animated films The Tale of Yevpatiy Kolovrat (1985), Music of Revolution (1987) and others. He studied at the Moscow Regional Art School 'In Memory of 1905' (1955-59), at the courses of animators at the Soyuzmultfilm studio (1959-61), at the University of Marxism-Leninism at the Moscow State Committee of the CPSU (1968-70).
