Arthur Sullivan was a composer, born in London in 1842 and died in 1900. His father was a military bandmaster, and Arthur composed his first anthem at the age of eight. He studied at London's Royal Academy of Music after being awarded the inaugural Mendelssohn Scholarship at 14 years of age.
Sullivan was one half of Gilbert & Sullivan, the partnership responsible for works such as The Mikado, H.M.S. Pinafore, and The Pirates of Penzance.- Harald Molander was born on 17 March 1858 in Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden. He was a writer, known for En lyckoriddare (1921). He died on 22 November 1900.
