Guy Ritchie was born in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK on September 10, 1968. After watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) as a child, Guy realized that what he wanted to do was make films. He never attended film school, saying that the work of film school graduates was boring and unwatchable. At 15 years old, he dropped out of school and in 1995, got a job as a runner, ultimately starting his film career. He quickly progressed and was directing music promos for bands and commercials by 1995.
The profits that he made from directing these promos was invested into writing and making the film The Hard Case (1995), a 20-minute short film that is also the prequel to his debut feature Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998). Sting's wife, Trudie Styler, saw The Hard Case (1995) and invested in the feature film. Once completed, 10 British distributors turned the film down before it eventually was released in the UK in 1998 and in the US in 1999; the film put Ritchie on the map as one of the hottest rising filmmakers of the time, and launched the careers of actors Jason Statham, Jason Flemyng, and Vinnie Jones, among others.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) was followed by Snatch (2000), this time with a bigger budget and a few more familiar faces such as Brad Pitt, Dennis Farina, Benicio Del Toro alongside returning actors Jason Statham, Vinnie Jones and Jason Flemyng. At the end of 2000, Ritchie married the pop superstar Madonna in Scotland, and proceeded to work with his famous wife on a variety of film and video projects, including the short Star (2001), made for BMW and co-starring Clive Owen, and the controversial video "What It Feels Like for a Girl," which was called out for its violence. In 2002, the couple embarked on a remake of the 1974 Lina Wertmüller film Swept Away (2002); the new film was a critical and commercial flop, winning five Razzie Awards. Ritchie followed up with the Vegas heist film Revolver (2005), which was panned, but won favor with the crime thriller RocknRolla (2008), which featured a game, energetic cast and brought American attention to rising stars Gerard Butler and Tom Hardy.
The next year saw the release of Sherlock Holmes (2009), starring Robert Downey Jr. in the title role and Jude Law as his cohort Dr. Watson. The film received mostly good reviews but, more important for Ritchie's career, was a solid blockbuster hit that grossed more than $520 million dollars worldwide and spawned a sequel, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011). Ritchie is tentatively scheduled to direct an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island.
Ritchie has two sons with Madonna: Rocco, born in 2000, and an adopted son, David, born in 2005. In late 2008, the couple confirmed reports that they were splitting up, and agreed to a divorce settlement that was finalized in December of that year. In September 2011, Ritchie's girlfriend, model Jacqui Ainsley, gave birth to a son, Rafael, and in July 2012 the couple announced they were expecting their second child.- Actor

Naturally brunette/blue-eyed beauty Amy Davis Irving was born in Palo Alto, California. She is the youngest of three children, and the daughter of influential theatrical/television director and producer Jules Irving, and actress Priscilla Pointer. Her father was of Russian Jewish descent, and her mother's ancestry includes English, Scots-Irish, Welsh, Jewish, and German.
Amy was brought up in the world of theater. She was put on stage from the time she was nine-months-old, her father was the director and her mother was the actress, they didn't want baby sitters for their children, so if she wasn't performing, she would stay in the wardrobe department or her mother used to put her in the second row center where she could watch her. And, before she was 10-years-old, she had already worked in several plays. At a young age, Amy Irving was trained at the American Conservatory Theater and Britain's London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (L.A.M.A.D.A.). She made her off-Broadway debut at the age of 17 and, from that moment to date, she received critical acclaim, appearing in such plays as: "Heartbreak House" (1983), "The Road to Mecca" (1988), "Broken Glass" (1994), "The Three Sisters" (1997), "The Guys" (2002), "Ghosts" (2002) and "Celadine" (2004), among others.
In 1976, Amy made her film debut, playing "Sue Snell", one of her most unforgettable characters in Stephen King's Carrie (1976), a classic in the horror genre, taken to the big screen by director Brian De Palma. For the next few years, Irving continued working in important films, The Fury (1978), also directed by De Palma, Voices (1979) and The Competition (1980). Later, in 1983, she gave a fine performance as "Hadass", in Barbra Streisand's Yentl (1983); earning an Oscar nomination. Two of her best opportunities arrived in the late 80s, when she played "Anna Anderson" in Anastasia: The Mystery of Anna (1986) and "Isabelle Grossman" in the romantic comedy, Crossing Delancey (1988); she received a Golden Globe nomination for each movie.
Amy was married to director Steven Spielberg from 1985 to 1989 and she has a son with him, Max Spielberg. And, in 1990, after her divorce, she met Brazilian director Bruno Barreto while they were working on A Show of Force (1990). They wed a few years later and they have a son (Gabriel). In 1997, Irving made a guest appearance on Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry (1997) and, in 1999, she came back in the sequel of Carrie (1976), The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999).
Unfortunately, her film opportunities narrowed in the 90s. However, in the year 2000, she surprised the whole world again when she performed as "Mary Ann Simpson", a very funny and sensual, at the same time, English teacher in the film, Bossa Nova (2000). She managed to capture this peculiar character very well. After this romantic comedy, Amy had a great opportunity, playing "Barbara Wakefield", Michael Douglas' wife in Traffic (2000), the film was a huge success and she won an Actor Award, shared with the rest of the cast. Then, this beautiful and talented actress continued working in remarkable films such as 13 Conversations About One Thing (2001), with her Carrie (1976) co-star, Sissy Spacek, in the Walt Disney production, Tuck Everlasting (2002) and in the horror film, Hide and Seek (2005), along with Robert De Niro. Recently, she had an important part as "Emily Sloane" in the very-known show, Alias (2001).
In addition to her talents as an actress, she is a great dancer and also showed off her vocal talents, singing in films such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Honeysuckle Rose (1980), Rumpelstiltskin (1987) and An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (1991).
Nowadays, Amy Irving continues working on stage in Broadway productions and spends most of her time with her friends and family, especially with her two children.- Actress

Stephanie Erb is an American actress known for her work in TV, film, and theater. She grew up all over the United States as a university brat and was drawn to both a medical career and the arts. However, when she saw Laurence Olivier's Hamlet at eight years old, she knew she truly wanted to be an actress. Her training began at The Cleveland Playhouse and continued at SMU's acclaimed Theatre Program; when she moved to New York she started years of jobs in the regional-theater circuit, including work at Arena Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Dallas Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, etc., and an expansive tour of the United States with John Houseman's Acting Company ("Two Gents", "Romeo and Juliet"). She also holds degrees in English and biology.
Stephanie garners a lot of inspiration from both of her parents. Her father, the late American contemporary composer Donald Erb, encouraged her pursuit of the arts and was always a beacon of artistic integrity, perseverance, and compassion. Her mother Lucille provided endless support and love, which made it possible for her to pursue a quixotic business. Through all the ups and downs, her parents offered listening ears, and her very successful father would even mention from time to time, "You know, I could have been a fireman and been just as happy."
Stephanie began to work in television and film upon moving to Los Angeles, and has been active in both ever since, performing in the theater whenever possible. Her first break in television was as a guest star on the cult favorite, Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). She owes her film debut to Peter Weir, who cast her in Fearless (1993) with Jeff Bridges and Isabella Rossellini.
Her extensive career also includes recurring roles on Weeds (2005), 24 (2001), and Freaks and Geeks (1999), as well as film appearances on such productions as The Ring (2002), South Dakota (2017), and Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny (2006). Additional television work includes recurring characters on Ray Donovan (2013), The Young and the Restless (1973), and The Fosters (2013) to add to her resume of over 100 individual appearances onscreen. Stephanie has garnered numerous awards for her work in theater, as well as onscreen.
As she says, "It's a crazy life, but someone has to do it." And she does, with gratitude. A resident of Los Angeles, Stephanie lives with her family and two needy chihuahuas.- Actress

This year, Tunji reprises his starring role as Ned 'Nick' Nickerson on The CW's hit supernatural thriller/drama series "Nancy Drew". Based on the iconic books created by publisher Edward L. Stratemeyer and written by a variety of authors under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene, the show follows brilliant teen sleuth Nancy Drew (Kennedy McMann) as she solves mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine. Tunji instantly became a fan favorite as Nick, a former teenage convict (also Nancy's ex-boyfriend) who is forced to confront his previous life in Florida, while working to help solve crimes alongside his new friends in Maine. Season three of "Nancy Drew" is slated to premiere on October 8, 2021.
Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and raised in Nigeria until he was 12, Tunji is the youngest of three children. Having a Nigerian father, a Scottish mother and growing up in both countries, Tunji and his sisters were immersed in a rich, diverse, blended cultural experience. Upon moving back to Scotland as a pre-teen, Tunji enrolled in drama classes and began participating in local musicals and theatre. At 17 he was accepted into the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, and before he even graduated was cast in Michael Attenborough's Big White Fog at the Almeida Theatre in London, making his professional onstage debut. Arriving in London as a young man and being exposed to a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities from all walks of life, Tunji felt a surprising sense of relief. Growing up in Nigeria with a predominantly Black community and in contrast, moving to Scotland, which is largely white, arriving in London married multiple worlds together. For the first time, Tunji didn't feel out of place.
On stage, Tunji went on to star in The Brothers Size written by Oscar winner Tarell Alvin McCraney ("Moonlight") and directed by Bijan Sheibani. He was nominated for an Ian Charleston Award for starring in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Julius Caesar and went on to be in a handful of plays with the RSC, which brought him to New York City's Park Avenue Armory, marking his first time working in the United States. Additional theatre credits for Tunji include Network by Lee Hall (adapted from the 1976 film), Simon Godwin's Antony and Cleopatra, and Yael Farber's Les Blancs, all at the National Theatre. As well as David Farr's King Lear and Chris Luscombe's Much Ado about Nothing at the RSC. Film credits for Tunji include Bill Condon's "Good Liar," and Dan Krauss' "The Kill Team."
When he isn't on set, you can find Tunji barefoot-running, always setting a new physical challenge for himself. Last year he ran a sub-20-minute 5km, incorporating fundraising for Covenant House Vancouver, which provides support for at-risk street youth in the Vancouver B.C. area. This year he has challenged himself to run a total of 1000km. Tunji is also vegan and is passionate about living a life that excludes all forms of animal exploitation and cruelty, whether it be from food, clothing, and more. He has a huge place in his heart for giving back and has been active with a handful of organizations over the years. He currently splits his time between London and Vancouver, where he films "Nancy Drew." - Actor

Oscar-winner Edmond O'Brien was one of the most respected character actors in American cinema, from his heyday of the mid-1940s through the late 1960s. Born on September 10, 1915, in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, O'Brien learned the craft of performance as a magician, reportedly tutored by neighbor Harry Houdini. He took part in student theatrics in high school and majored in drama at Fordham University, dropping out after six months. He made his Broadway debut at the age of 21 in 1936 and, later that year, played "The Gravedigger" in the great Shakespearean actor John Gielgud's legendary production of "Hamlet". Four years later, he would play 'Mercutio' to the 'Romeo' of another legendary Shakespearean, Laurence Olivier, in Olivier's 1940 Brodway production of "Romeo & Juliet".
O'Brien worked with another magician, Orson Welles, in the Mercury Theater's production of "Julius Caesar", appearing as 'Mark Antony'. He would later play 'Casca' in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's film of the play, Julius Caesar (1953).
Although it has been stated that he made his debut as an uncredited extra in the 1938 film, Prison Break (1938), the truth is that his stage work impressed RKO boss Pandro S. Berman, who brought him to Hollywood to appear in the plum supporting part of 'Gringoire' in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939), which starred Charles Laughton in the title role. After returning from his wartime service with the Army Air Force, O'Brien built up a distinguished career as a supporting actor in A-list films, and as an occasional character lead, such as in D.O.A. (1949).
O'Brien won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Barefoot Contessa (1954) and also received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his role as a drunken senator who ferrets out an attempted coup d'etat in Seven Days in May (1964). He also appeared as crusty old-timer 'Freddy Sykes', who antagonizes Ben Johnson's character 'Tector Gorch' in director Sam Peckinpah's classic Western, The Wild Bunch (1969). Increasingly, O'Brien appeared on television in the 1960s and '70s, but managed a turn in his old boss Welles' unfinished film, The Other Side of the Wind (2018).
He married and divorced actresses Nancy Kelly and Olga San Juan, the latter being the mother of his three children, including actors Maria O'Brien and Brendan O'Brien. He died in May of 1985 in Inglewood, California, of Alzheimer's Disease and was interred in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California.- Producer

Robert Earl Wise was born on September 10, 1914 in Winchester, Indiana, the youngest of three sons of Olive R. (Longenecker) and Earl Waldo Wise, a meat packer. His parents were both of Pennsylvania Dutch (German) descent. At age nineteen, the avid moviegoer came into the film business through an odd job at RKO Radio Pictures. A head sound effects editor at the studio recognized Wise's talent, and made Wise his protégé. Around 1941, Orson Welles was in need of an editor for Citizen Kane (1941), and Wise did a splendid job. Welles really liked his work and ideas. Wise started as a director with some B-movies, and his career went on quickly, and he made many classic movies. His last theatrical film, Rooftops (1989), proved that he was a filmmaker still in full command of his craft in his 80s. The carefully composed images, tight editing, and unflagging pace make one wish that Wise had not stayed away from the camera for very long. Robert Wise died of heart failure on September, 14, 2005, just four days after his 91st birthday.- Kim Joo-ryung was born on 10 September 1976 in South Korea. Jacob Wayne Young was born in Renton, Washington, to now-divorced parents Michael and Rhonda, joining siblings Michael, Tiffany and Charity. After spending his childhood in both Washington and Oregon, he caught the acting bug doing high-school musicals. Without any prior professional acting work on his resume, Young scored big at the tender age of 18 when he landed the part of Eric Forrester Jr, called Rick, on the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful (1987). Following his debut on December 31, 1997 the newcomer quickly gained frontburner-status and formed a highly popular love couple with Adrienne Frantz's Amber Moore. Despite earning a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1999 and getting the chance to incorporate his singing ambitions on the show, Young opted to leave amidst a red-hot storyline to pursue other opportunities in the Fall of 1999. In 2000, Young landed the coveted recast role of Lucky, son of Luke and Laura Spencer on General Hospital (1963), for which he won the 2002 Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actor. He left this show in February 2003 looking to spread his wings. Surprisingly, Young returned to daytime television a mere 6-months-later once again taking over the highly coveted part of the son of a core patriarch: now stepping in as JR Chandler on All My Children (1970). This role caused the actor to move to New York City - and as part of the deal Young got to make his Broadway debut, playing Lumiére from May to August 2006 in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast". He had previously released an eponymous CD, Jacob Young, in 2001. For his work on "All My Children" Young received two further Daytime Emmy Nominations, including one as Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2009. He stayed with the show - also playing the same role on sister-show One Life to Live (1968) on several occasions during a highly-rated baby switch-storyline - until its cancellation in 2011. Proving his track record as being one of the most-sought actors of his generation amongst soap opera executives, Young was instantly snatched up by The Bold And The Beautiful. After returning to the series that started his career, Young is once again playing Rick Forrester on the CBS daytime drama and in 2012 also brought his character to The Young and the Restless (1973) for a one-day-visit. Young is married to his longtime girlfriend, Christen Steward, a model, since May 2007 and the couple shares two children.- Monica Lopera, born to Colombian parents in Miami, Florida, on September 10, 1985, is an accomplished actress whose journey in the world of entertainment began at an early age. Fred Olen Ray spent most of his childhood in Florida, where he was always a fan of horror movies on TV. He collected autographs of many of the actors in those films where he met Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. His early career was filled with low-budget horror and science-fiction films, but the market eventually dried up and he switched to producing softcore "T&A" videos of the type shown late at night on Showtime and Cinemax. His films rarely cost more than $500,000, and he has written under at least 30 different pen names; he was one of the first to fill time at the end of his films with outtakes, now a common practice in other comedy films. The outdoor sets are often CGI backdrops and many sets are in his own home or near it. Ray often can share credit for his softcore film success with the late cinematographer/director Gary Graver, big shoes for him to fill while working with an excess of tattooed and body-beaded new performers in this genre.- Chandler Massey was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, with his two younger siblings.
