Andrew's broad range of experience includes managing events at The Emmys, The Oscars, TIFF, SXSW, Comic-Con, New York Fashion Week, The Sundance Film Festival, not to mention both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. His work takes him everywhere, from sushi restaurants to major league baseball stadiums. There is no type of venue Andrew hasn't managed successfully.
Andrew's talent and experience cuts across all production management disciplines. He is responsible for managing all production logistics, including booking crews, renting equipment, securing venues, creating production books, maintaining budgets and obtaining proper permits. He has helped coordinate and manage production logistics for everything from pyrotechnics to giant cakes to high wire structures and 17,000-gallon swimming tanks!
Production management has been a passion of Andrew's ever since his first "Introduction to Video Production" class in high school. Majoring in Electronic Media in college, he officially began his production career as a newsroom intern at local NBC affiliate, WGAL. There he honed his craft, working alongside award-winning producers and reporters to research, develop, write and edit weekly news segments. It was at WGAL where Andrew produced his first 30-minute live show for the network.
Moving on from WGAL, Andrew was hired as production assistant for Rock Creek Productions, where he further fine-tuned his skills, organizing and managing on-location productions for various government training videos. He was also responsible for coordinating production logistics, which included booking travel and crews, organizing production footage and photos, and editing audio clips.
