Having to keep track of so many series these days, there are very few that I make it a point to acquire each and every season. After all, a person has only so much time, money and shelf space. But when it comes to Arrow, I can’t help adding the next chapter to my collection once it arrives on home video.
That said, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking in season 6 in its entirety over the past week or so. Though I did originally tune in to watch it live, I certainly didn’t mind a second tour on Blu-ray because there was just so much going on this year.
Long story short, the saga resumes not long after Team Arrow and friends were caught in the blast caused by Prometheus on Lian Yu, with pretty much everyone except the mother of Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) child making it out alive.

Sure there’s plenty to do at San Diego Comic-Con this week, but what happens if you decide you need a break from panels and looking for back issues? Plenty more, as it happens.
From TV show-branded activations to live comedy shows, even art shows, and best of all, a lot of it is open even to people who weren’t lucky enough to win the lottery and secure a badge for Sdcc 2018.
Comedy lovers will be able to join Conan O’Brien at the TeamCocoHouse pop-up comedy club beginning on Wednesday with events through Saturday. Meanwhile, Purge fans can cleanse their souls at the “Purge Emporium.” And you’ll be able to watch two episodes of the upcoming season of “The Venture Bros.”
Plus, Fans of “The Good Place” can visit heaven on earth — or is it hell? — at a re-creation of NBC comedy’s first season setting in the Gaslamp district.

In recent years, journalists and fans alike have kept their eyes affixed to DC’s YouTube channel, especially because their daily web series, DC All Access, often drops major news about the brand’s latest happenings across all forms of media. Unfortunately, it’s been largely absent for a couple months, but has thankfully made an unexpected return.
Admittedly, it’d have been preferable to see the show’s comeback three weeks ago when the wealth of midseason premieres were kicking off, but better late than never, right?
Getting back on track, the first “#Dctv ” video in some time features valuable information regarding this week’s episodes of Supergirl, Black Lightning and Arrow, including some educational comic book connections. And while we could probably discuss this all day, it’s the Arrow tease that was hardest to ignore.
Let it be known that while host Hector Navarro touched on this only briefly,...

The trailer for “Ready Player One” just premiered at Comic-Con, and with it our first look at some of the far-flung characters in Steven Spielberg’s journey through the world of video games. Freddy Krueger and the DeLorean from “Back to the Future” both feature in the trailer, but the character drawing strongest reactions is undoubtedly the Iron Giant.

“The Iron Giant plays a huge role in the movie,” Spielberg said of the beloved robot voiced by Vin Diesel in the 1999 animated classic. That came as good news to many:

Ready Player One looks honestly mind-blowing. One of the first shots in the Vr Oasis was the Iron Giant.

Now that the cat is out of the bag and Savitar’s true identity has finally been revealed, The Flash is free to run fast and loose in this season’s remaining three episodes. Aside from the big unmasking, Caitlin Snow has fully evolved into Killer Frost and, believe it or not, the producers have somehow managed to intertwine these two hugely important plot threads.
In this week’s #Dctv edition of DC All Access, co-host Hector Navarro, who may very well be the only person alive that didn’t figure out that Savitar was a future version of Barry Allen, had the distinct privilege of sitting down with actress Danielle Panabaker. And while their conversation was a bit brief, she did speak of how Killer Frost will return to S.T.A.R. Labs this week in order to forge an uneasy alliance with her former friends. From the look of it,...
