Gone With The Dead is a new horror-comedy zombie film from director Justin W. Smith that has recently launched a crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo.
A mysterious virus sweeps across the entire west coast infecting millions of people and turning them into flesh-eating zombies. In the midst of the chaos, two different groups of survivors manage to find shelter in a remote farmhouse and a grungy strip club downtown. As the zombies close in on them, the survivors must overcome their differences and work together to find a way out. But they soon discover that the virus is not the only threat they face. There are others who are willing to do anything to survive the madness, even if it means betraying their own kind. Will the survivors escape the horror, or will they be Gone…with the Dead?!
Cast: Derek Crowe, Sophia Rodes, Joshua Flores, Jeanne Young, Czar, Olga Molina,...

It’s taken a few more years than expected but 10/31 Part III has finally arrived and it wastes no time getting down to business with several faux trailers that range from old-school Eurosleaze, “The Slaughter”, to “Night of the Halloweenies” a parody of Night of the Demons, zombies lay siege to a radio station in “Radio Tower Road” and a pair of slashers “Candy Killer” and my favourite, the 70s grindhouse styled “A Stranger’s Treat”.
As with the original and the first sequel, 10/31 Part III begins with Jennifer Nangle appearing in her Malvolia persona and giving us an introduction to what we’re about to see.

Over the last couple decades, director Mike Hurst has brought us several genre films – House of the Dead 2, Room 6, The Darkroom, Pumpkinhead 4: Blood Feud, Paradox – and his latest is a self-financed labor of love he has been working on for the last four years. It’s called Transmission, and it has been officially accepted into the Pigeon Shrine FrightFest festival that’s set to be held in London from August 24th through 28th. In anticipation of Transmission‘s FrightFest screening, we’ve gotten our hands on the trailer for the film, and you can check it out in the embed above!
Here’s how Hurst described the film: “Basically the whole movie takes place on a TV screen as we channel-surf late at night, slowly realizing that the different stories on the different channels are actually all connected, all parts of the same horrific story…” As the viewer flips through the channels,...

"If this film doesn't put you in your grave, you're already dead." Deranged Minds Ent. has revealed an official trailer for an indie horror creation called Inverted, which is premiering in Ohio at the end of this month. "Think you can survive the house of The Inverts?" It is described as a "psychedelic, grindhouse-esque slay-fest that feels like it would be the offspring of Rosemary's Baby and The Lord’s of Salem." If that sounds right up your alley, then give this trailer a look. The film follows an off-the-grid satanic cult in the 1970s that kidnap a diverse group of individuals to recruit for the Holy War against the second coming of Christ. The victims have a choice to join the family or fight to survive one of the most brutal satanic cults in the annals of American history... The Inverts. "A new strain of evil." Get it, get it? Wild Eye Releasing has debuted an official trailer for Amityville in the Hood, another ridiculous B-movie creation from filmmaker Dustin Ferguson. He's kind of like Asylum, but not even that good. Another Amityville offering now that the rights are in public domain and anyone can use them to make any bad horror movie. But it might be the best?. An Eastside gang uses the Amityville property to grow marijuana when they are attacked by a rival gang and their drugs stolen. Soon, it's unleashed on the Westside streets of Compton, where anyone who smokes it suffers one Killer buzz. Oh lord. The film's cast includes Dustin Ferguson, Jennifer Nangle, John R. Walker, Thom Michael Mulligan, Allie Perez, Pat Kusnadi, Erik Anthony Russo, and Esau McKnight. A haunted marijuana strain? Okay fine, points for creativity. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Dustin...

Writer and director Dustin Ferguson (Zombi VIII: Urban Decay) is an incredibly prolific filmmaker with 110 directorial credits (so far) on IMDb, churning out dozens of films in a year be it under his name or his “Dark Infinity” moniker – which is the name under which he directed The Beast Beneath. This film also features a couple of now-regular performers that Ferguson works with: scream queen Brinke Stevens and Game of Death‘s Mel Novak.
The Beast Beneath sees an earthquake some 20 miles from San Diego awaken a prehistoric beast that starts to feed on the locals, with only the Sheriff ((D.T. Carney), scientist Charlene Brinkeman (Brinke Stevens) and her brother Aaron (Eric Prochnau) willing to stop it. Meanwhile,...

Scarehouse Celebrates 20 Years of Fears: "There’s no need to fear … actually, come to think of it, there is – because the legendary haunted attraction ScareHouse, named one of the scariest haunted houses in the United States, will open its doors of doom for its 20th spine-tingling year on Saturday, Sept. 18.
The first visitors to ScareHouse screamed their way through its horrifying haunts and sinister sights and sounds in 1999 – but it’s this year that the attraction is commemorating 20 Years of Fears as a result of a scaled-down, pandemic-influenced version last season.
Tickets to ScareHouse are available beginning today at www.ScareHouse.com. ScareHouse will be open Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 1; and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Nov. 6. General admission tickets – which require advance online reservations – begin at $22.95, with a special “Rip Ticket” that offers no-reservation front-of-line access available beginning at $39.95.
