- In 2013 he and composer Gareth Williams began work on a three part project about the three hundred and six British soldiers executed for cowardice, desertion and mutiny during the first world war. It went on to become "The 306: Dawn, Day and Dusk".
- For the radio play "A History of Paper" he was shortlisted for the Tinniswood Award in 2017, and he won won the Tinniswood Award in 2019 for the radio play "When The Pips Stop".
- He scripted the short film This Way Up.
- His stage play "Dragon" won Best Show For Children and Young People at the UK Theatre Awards in 2014.
