Hey, "NCIS" fans. We were able to track down some new details in regards to Agent Jessica Knight star Katrina Law and her possible exit from the show. She originally joined the NCIS crew as a recurring character back in season 18. Then, she became a season regular in season 19. Now, it's being highly speculated that she might be leaving the show after the most recent season 21, but no one is giving a clear answer to that question. However, we do have some new details about it because the folks over at TV Line did recently interview the showrunner of NCIS Steve D. Binder and Kristina Law. They asked both of them if she's exiting NCIS after this most recent season 21. They point blank asked Kristina if she's returning for the new season 22, and she told them, "Hmmm…. Better tune in for that season opener!" After that, she went on to...

When NCIS Season 22 comes, things might not go well for Jessica Knight. This comes straight from co-showrunner Steve D. Binder, who said that the next season should be “bittersweet” for Katrina Law’s character on the long-running police procedural.
Here is what Binder said about the fan-favorite character and what it could mean for Season 22.

In a recent interview, NCIS co-showrunner Steve D. Binder was talking about Season 22. He was asked about the season finale, which made Jessica Knight’s future look questionable. What he had to say didn’t ease anyone’s tension about the show’s star.

NCIS is officially over its season 21 and is heading to the next installment which is set to be released later this year, and there seems to be so many questions that it needs to find answers for.
The latest season ended on two major cliffhangers, suggesting that Jessica Knight will inevitably leave the McRt for a bigger role on the other side of the country, while Alden Parker’s backstory will receive an update after his hallucination on the boat.
Though these are the most popular things for fans to keep speculating regarding the upcoming season, two other characters also need a bigger development, and they actually deserve it more than anyone else.

It’s been a couple of months since NCIS: Hawai’i was abruptly canceled for no solid reason, but all the talks about the unfortunate series have never quietened down ever since.
Being a CBS fan-favorite show that never had a single problem with its ratings, NCIS: Hawai’i was not only unfairly scrapped by the network, but also deprived of a good ending and instead got nothing but a major cliffhanger, leaving fans forever wonder what it would bring to the next never-happening season.
While some of the most devoted fans still keep trying to bring their beloved show back to the screen by calling CBS out on social media and starting a whole campaign with a petition to sign, NCIS: Hawai’i is likely to end up just like this with low chances to ever be revived, and the show’s fate seems even more heartbreaking than the one of another NCIS ditched spinoff.

Jessica Knight’s future in NCIS after the season 21 ending is now the biggest mystery for the show’s fans as the latest installment proved that the character was down for a big job opportunity outside of the McRt.
Despite making it clear that Jessica will no longer stay with her team once her new job duties take her across the country, her departure hasn’t yet been confirmed, as well as Jessica’s possible return as a guest star in some future episodes.
However obscure it all is for Jessica Knight’s further storyline, there seems to be enough challenges for her position at the McRt. The long list of candidates who may take over Knight’s duties doesn’t really stop at the original show’s characters, but also considers some of those who have been out of sight for quite some time now.

NCIS season 21 has been over for a while now, leaving fans with two big plot twists to ponder over until the show’s next installment hits CBS later this year. The season finale suddenly brought all the attention to Jessica Knight who has accepted a big offer and thus is set to get to the other side of the country, leaving her previous and pretty much beloved workplace.

NCIS season 21 has been over for quite some time now, leaving the show’s fans enough time to speculate until the next installment hits CBS this fall.
Though it’s been only several weeks since NCIS’s latest season ended on that major cliffhanger raising concerns about Jessica Knight’s future in the show, the fandom has already come up with all sorts of theories, each and every single one of which takes Jessica Knight to the most different directions in life.
While some don’t really care about Jessica’s big promotion having their fingers crossed for the character’s continuous romance with Jimmy Palmer, others surmise that Knight and Palmer’s future together doesn’t seem to be that bright anymore. However, there’s also another, unexpectedly simple theory that has a chance to turn out to be true.

NCIS: Hawai’i got heartbreaking news about its cancellation several weeks ago, but the fans’ outrage never really quietened down ever since.
Being one of NCIS’ numerous spinoffs, the series introduced a compelling storyline that kept viewers glued to their screens in anticipation for another season to be dropped, and, even apart from that, NCIS: Hawai’i indeed had some masterfully elaborated strong points that neither the original show nor other spinoffs had been able to adapt.
Unlike the rest of NCIS installments, that show finally proved that the leading position doesn’t necessarily belong to an ambitious white man.
Over the years of its television run, NCIS: Hawai’i has received lots of accolades for creating something more diverse and refreshing for modern TV that already got bored of one-type shows with male agents at the helm. The show even introduced a lesbian couple whose healthy relationship got a rare compliment from the LGBTQ+ community itself.

NCIS’ season 22 is still months away from release on CBS this fall, but fans just can’t get enough of a myriad of theories dwelling on guesses where Jessica Knight’s major cliffhanger will eventually take the show’s storyline.

With all the NCIS franchise’s shows being over for a while until new seasons for some of them come later this year, the biggest problem to resolve isn’t even NCIS: Hawai’i’s cliffhanger that will probably never get its explanation, but rather Jessica Knight’s position.

CBS’ giant police procedural project NCIS has officially left its fans until next year when it’ll be back with a new season, and now not only Jessica Knight needs to be given an update in the future installment.
The season’s final episode finds Knight and her colleague, McRt leader Alden Parker, on a common mission when the latter is significantly injured and later on rushed to the hospital. Though things don’t seem to be fatal for Alden, something that happened to him right after the injury is what fans would definitely be eager to learn more about.
In season 21 finale, Alden’s background story suddenly dives deep into his past as, having a serious blood loss, he starts hallucinating and sees a little girl dressed in white that he calls Lily. She’s first shown frisking in the engine room, and then another vision takes her to...

Amid all the cancellation news concerning a 3-season television run of NCIS: Hawai’i, fans are more than ready to strike back to bring their favorite show back to the screens. Following the suit of So Help Me Todd’s fans, those who were keeping an eye on the NCIS’ spinoff all along created a whole new petition and even got some support from the show’ main cast.
Though some more previous similar attempts did work out for other series that were eventually brought back, the same happening to NCIS: Hawai’i remains a very implausible option, yet the creators still might come up with a plot twist that will be just fine for both spinoff and original show.

NCIS’ season 21 has finally arrived in full, proving that there will be some major changes in the upcoming season 22. The show’s latest episodes showed one of NCIS Special Agents Jessica Knight, portrayed by Katrina Law, accepting an offer to be promoted to React Chief Training Officer at Camp Pendleton, the position that will eventually and inevitably transfer her to the other side of the country.
Knight’s possible departure from the Major Case Response Team may come as a difficult thing to process for many as the character became fan-favorite throughout the three last seasons of the show. However, by leaving the team for good, Jessica seemingly paves the way for NCIS’ 19-year-old trend that proves that the series was ahead of its time all along.

Given some big changes that will affect the original show’s plot pretty soon, the franchise still has a chance to make it up to its big loss that hit a major milestone back in the day.
Amid the fans’ raging reaction about NCIS: Hawaii’s cancellation right before letting a big cliffhanger out for the public to reconcile with, this isn’t the only reason why the show is indeed such a big deal for its viewers and for the present-day television as well.
Ending its run after only three seasons the first one of which was launched in 2021, NCIS: Hawaii started an important trend of aspiring for same-sex relationships’ accurate representation on screen, the aspect that later on became a merit for the whole NCIS franchise.

But taking the job would likely mean moving to the West Coast and leaving behind the rest of the NCIS team, including her boyfriend Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen).

Following a new 2024 NCIS episode, the show's cast may look different as Katrina Law's Agent Knight re-evaluates her future.
First joining NCIS at the end of Season 18, Law's Special Agent Jessica Knight came to the team after working in the Navy Yard's React unit. Her team was disbanded when her fellow agents were killed.
She served as the replacement on Agent Gibbs' team when Emily Wickersham's Ellie Bishop left the series, eventually forming a romantic relationship with Brian Dietzen's Dr. Jimmy Palmer as well.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the NCIS Season 21 finale “Reef Madness.”] “This is one of my favorite episodes of my entire career span on NCIS. It’s so beautifully done and hits so many emotional levels for many different characters,” says Katrina Law, speaking with us about the twenty-first season finale for NCIS: Case Closed, our weekly aftershow. It was particularly tough for her character, Special Agent Jessica Knight, who got an angry breakup speech from her boyfriend, Chief Medical Examiner Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) after he heard she was considering taking a new job in California. Watch the video above for the two actors’ breakdown of the episode. “It was a wonderfully human reaction that happens, that’s not planned,” Dietzen says. “Jimmy lost one of his best friends and his mentor this year. Was that for real?
Is Jessica Knight out the door as it appeared after NCIS Season 21 Episode 10?
And did the only intrateam romance in the current NCIS franchise go with her?
It's been a wacky season for TV as the networks slash and cut, then slash some more following the new writers' and actors' contracts.
And it is conceivable that Katrina Law wanted out. She joined the Hawaii Five-0 cast for what turned out to be its 10th and final season, with its cancellation a surprise to many. Maybe she wanted to get a jump this time, in case Season 22 is it for NCIS.
That's not out of the realm of possibility. After all, the show's favorite characters are still featured on CBS/Paramount+, with NCIS: Origins (young Gibbs), and the unnamed Tony and Ziva project. Why pay for the Mother Ship as well?
Also, it's not unusual to have surprise departures on NCIS finales,...

The NCIS Season 21 finale arrives on May 6, and it’s slated to be a big one.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, we are heading toward a cliffhanger for one of the primary characters.
But some new statements from one of the NCIS stars teased that the acronym for the show (NCIS) stands for “no character is safe.”
“They shouldn’t just be worried about Gary Cole, they should worry about a lot of characters. No character is safe, that’s what NCIS stands for, I think,” actor Brian Dietzen said on the red carpet for CBS’ Fall Schedule Celebration in Hollywood.
“I’ll tell you this, Gary Cole and Katrina Law knock it out of the park in this episode. There are a lot of things that are going to be happening, not just the danger that our characters are put through, but also dynamics that are going to be shifting,...

Is it time for NCIS: Dallas?
Probably not, based on the events of NCIS Season 21 Episode 9.
It was a bad week for the franchise, with NCIS: Hawaii being canceled, without warning, after its third season.
And right after Sam Hanna of NCIS: Los Angeles fame came on board for an indefinite stay.
It appears his visit will be for only one season. That's a pity since this new lineup was only beginning to hit its stride.
Apparently, the franchise is sticking with sure things. Beyond a second season of NCIS: Sydney, what else is coming is very NCIS-centric: NCIS: Origins, aka the Young Jethro Gibbs Chronicles, and the unnamed adventures of Tony and Ziva.
Besides, Jo, the innkeeper/small-town sheriff, didn't strike me as a character around which to build a spinoff.
Maybe this episode was, to some degree, poking fun at Yellowstone. Then again, maybe not.

CBS’ military police procedural giant NCIS isn’t going to slow down anytime soon: initially released back in 2003, the thriller show stays strong with its season 21’s finale coming up and the next season in the works.
Though the show has been prioritizing the characters’ career path all along, the latest season seemingly shifted its focus to more personal matters — and one particular character may get it all in both spheres during the season’s finale.
NCIS’ finale that is set to be aired on May 6 is preparing a “unique opportunity” for special agent Jessica Knight, according to the episode’s summary provided by CBS.
Given that the offer will be given by Leon Vance, NCIS director, fans may be officially reassured that the character is about to get some big promotion, but the nature of these big changes remain pretty much unclear.
