Loki: Hot Toys Unveils "God Loki" Figure, Offering Detailed Look At New Costume From Season 2 Finale
In the closing moments of Loki's season 2 finale, the God of Mischief destroyed the Temporal Loom and created a new, endless Multiverse which he sits at the centre of.
We're sure "God Loki" will eventually return, particularly with Kang gearing up to embark on a Multiversal War and Incursions destroying many of these new realities. While powering up to replace the Loom, Loki's costume underwent a startling transformation, and our best look yet at that comes in the form of a new 1/6th scale Hot Toys action figure.
Two versions will be available; a limited edition with rooted hair, and another with a traditional head sculpt.
"Exquisitely crafted based on the screen appearance of Tom Hiddleston as God Loki in the finale, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs," reads the official product description. "The fabric costume has been finely tailored to match Loki's on-screen appearance,...

Comedy series “Tacoma Fd” has been canceled at TruTV after four seasons, Variety has confirmed.
The series originally debuted on the basic cabler back in 2019. The show was part of the network’s push into original scripted series, alongside other shows like “At Home With Amy Sedaris,” “I’m Sorry,” and “Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits & Monsters.” However, TruTV’s original programming lineup has been winnowed down to virtually nothing in the past few years, with the only original series still on the network being the hidden camera show “Impractical Jokers.”
Likewise, fellow TNets like TBS and TNT — all of which fall under the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella — have gone from notable rosters of scripted shows to having none. Most recently, the TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers” was canceled after four seasons. That show featured a cast that included Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Loki, Season 2, Episode 5, “Science Fiction.”] Loki‘s second season delivered its most mind-bending episode yet as the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) was forced to solve a seemingly insolvable problem, which was to control his time slipping. After Episode 4’s cliffhanger, which saw Loki and the team fail to repair the broken loom, keeping the various timelines under control, Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors) was spaghettified in an explosive flare-up, suggesting the end was nigh. But Loki finds himself transported in Episode 5, alone in the Tva; he loops back to himself before time-slipping out of the space that’s beginning to spaghettify around him. He ends up traveling in and out of various timelines, crossing paths with Mobius (Owen Wilson), who is a jetski salesman; Don, O.B. (Ke Huy Quan), who is a sci-fi writer and Ph.D. qualified scientist; Casey (Eugene Cordero) who is an Alcatraz escapee, and Hunter...

This article contains spoilers for season 2 of Loki.
We’ve known since the end of Loki season 1 that all of the employees of the Tva are variants with no memory of their past lives on the timeline. This means that Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and even Casey (Eugene Cordero) all have past lives and personalities that have been suppressed and kept a secret for as long as they can remember. That is, until the Temporal Loom collapses and everyone is forced back to their original timeline. Of the lives we get to see in season 2 episode 5 “Science/Fiction,” most aren’t far off from their Tva counterparts. Casey’s true identity, however, is a bit surprising.

One of the largest looming threats in Loki season 2, aside from the potential return of Kang variants, has been the impending explosion of the Temporal Loom and the potential destruction of the Tva. The loom has become overloaded with branching timelines since the Tva stopped pruning variants beyond the “sacred” one. In the aftermath of He Who Remains’ (Jonathan Majors) death, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) have enlisted Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan), Casey (Eugene Cordero), and B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) to help repair the timeline without sacrificing the billions of variants that live on these multiplying branches.
In episode 4 “Heart of the Tva,” Loki and Mobius have finally gathered the missing ingredient needed to repair the Temporal Loom – the temporal aura of Kang variant Victor Timely. However, Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) and Miss Minutes (Tara Strong) show up at the last minute ready to put a wrench in their...

This article contains spoilers for episode 4 of the second season of "Loki."
The fourth episode of "Loki" season 2 sends the Marvel Studios series into chaos as all the temporal exposition and doohickey chatter comes to a head in an epic disaster. While we're left wondering exactly what the shocking ending of this episode will bring to the final two episodes of "Loki" this season -- especially after the death of Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors), Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), and maybe the Time Variance Authority itself -- there is a little bit of movie trivia fun to be had, thanks to an obscure reference to the greatest time travel movie of all time: "Back to the Future."
There isn't a time travel movie out there that's more influential than "Back to the Future." Whether it's the iconic imagery of the DeLorean time machine or its rules of time travel, Robert Zemeckis'...

This article contains spoilers for the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks."
"Star Trek: Lower Decks" has gained a reputation for taking some bold swipes and making plenty of affectionate jokes at the expense of some of the silliest moments in the "Trek" franchise. And with over 50 years of canon, well, there's no shortage of easy targets and deep-cut references to focus on in any given episode. In essence, it's precisely the kind of comedic material that could only come from the minds of the biggest nerds and most adoring fans out there, which the writers so obviously are. But who says the broad range of this satirical show's irreverent sense of humor must be limited to "Star Trek" alone?

This post contains minor spoilers for the "Star Trek: Lower Decks" episode "The Inner Fight."
In the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks," titled "The Inner Fight," a mystery stands on the brink of being resolved. Throughout the show's fourth season, audiences have glimpsed a mysterious white UFO traversing the galaxy, idly obliterating numerous vessels in its path. Its pilot is not revealed, and it doesn't look like any ship previously seen on "Star Trek." In "The Inner Fight," Captain Freeman (Dawnn Lewis) reveals that she still doesn't know anything about who might be controlling the UFO, but has learned details of its mysterious mission. At the very least, she knows the UFO will be attacking certain individuals in the Federation next, and it's up to her and her ship to track down the next target and protect him.

In the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks," called "Caves," Lieutenants Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), Tendi (Noël Wells), and Boimler (Jack Quaid) are assigned one of the most tedious of Starfleet missions: scanning the interior of a cave. Each of them notes that they have all gone on cave missions in the past, and that caves all kind of look the same. These comments are, of course, a clever Trekkie in-joke, calling to attention how often "Star Trek" would save money by filming in Paramount's cheap-looking cave set. As both the characters and the audience predict, there is a cave-in. The characters cannot communicate with their ship and have to survive in an enclosed space ... with what turns out to be flesh-eating moss.
While trapped, the quartet while away the hours recounting their old cave missions. Their stories, it comes out, all took place...

In the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks," entitled "Caves," Lieutenant Boimler (Jack Quaid) finds himself trapped in an alien cave with his three best friends, unable to escape. While there is reason to panic -- they are surrounded by seemingly carnivorous moss -- none of them are thrown into a panic. Luckily, being trapped in a cave is a common occurrence on "Star Trek," and something even low-ranking Starfleet officers are familiar with. As Boimler and his friends attempt to escape, they while away the time by reminiscing about their previous cave missions gone awry.
Boimler tells a story of when he was trapped in a cave with Lieutenant Levy, a genius mathematician who likes to expound on bizarro conspiracy theories. As soon as Levy and Boimler are alone, the former begins blithering about the evil plots put into the galaxy by a species called the Vendorians, a...

The second-season "Star Trek: Lower Decks" episode "wej Duj" had a high concept. Rather than merely follow the usual lower-ranking officers on board the U.S.S. Cerritos, it split its time three ways, looking at ensigns on the Cerritos, on the Klingon ship the Iks Che'Ta', and on the Vulcan ship, the Sh'val. The Vulcan ensign (or the Vulcan military's equivalent) was T'Lyn (Gabrielle Ruiz), an officer considered by her superiors to be feisty and emotional. The joke of "wej Duj," of course, is that T'Lyn is just as stone-faced and stoic as her Vulcan counterparts, she merely reacts to crises using instinct sometimes, rather than logic all of the time.
Fast-forward to the current fourth season of "Lower Decks," and T'Lyn is now serving on board the Cerritos as a provisional officer. She now spends most of her time with Lieutenants Marianer (Tawny Newsome), Boimler (Jack Quaid), Rutherford...

"Star Trek: Lower Decks" loves a reference. If viewers were to try to count the number of inter-franchise references dropped at rapid-speed in a single episode of the animated comedy, they'd likely lose count. Sometimes the fannish U.S.S. That was the case this week when, in keeping with the show's seventh episode of the season tradition, rogue tech once again tried to take over the world.

Actor Tom Hiddleston is making his return as Loki in the second season of his eponymous show ‘Loki S2’. This time, the Norse God of Mischief has found himself a new family with the Time Variance Authority (Tva).
Speaking on this, the ‘Crimson Peak’ actor said: “One of the things we talked about is how Loki always struggled with family in the MCU, but he’s found a new family in the Tva, and he’s found, in its breakdown, an understanding of himself.”
He further added: “Having his sense of self opened up, broken down, and rebuilt by Mobius and his colleagues at the Tva, and also his connection with Sylvie, there’s a new capacity, a new awareness to make connections with other people.”
“He realises that those connections are all that matter in the end, and they’re connections that he wants to preserve. But now the stakes are higher.

Loki season two continues to drop Easter eggs left, right, and center, but in its second episode the show happily climbs aboard Marvel’s “running gag” bandwagon by throwing in a visual reference to one of the MCU’s most divisive movies: Eternals.
During the opening scene of this week’s Loki, the God of Mischief and his Tva analyst Bff Mobius (Owen Wilson) travel back in time to capture the slimy Brad Wolfe (Rafael Casal), a Tva hunter and variant who has absconded to a past point on the Sacred Timeline to build the life he never got to have as a 70s movie star.
At the premiere of his latest film, Zaniac, Loki and Mobius roll up to the red carpet, but not before passing a range of posters advertizing upcoming feature presentations, one of which happens to star Kumail Nanjiani’s Bollywood actor Kingo from Eternals!

After over 50 years of canon, "Star Trek" is littered with several cautionary tales of fearsome villains who nearly brought the entirety of Starfleet and even the quadrant at large to its knees, so wasn't it about time for "Lower Decks" to get in on the action? Throughout the series and especially in the fourth season, certain recurring antagonists have been carefully established and subsequently defeated, though with a few doors left open to potentially set up their ability to inflict maximum damage down the line. Well, that time has finally come as of episode 7, titled "A Few Badgeys More," but nothing quite unfolds the way viewers may have expected.

At the beginning of the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks," called "A Few Badgeys More," Lieutenants Rutherford (Eugene Cordero), Boimler (Jack Quaid), Tendi (Noël Wells), and Mariner (Tawny Newsome) are tinkering with the Sequoia, the disused shuttlecraft they hang out next to and occasionally tinker with in their spare time. This week, Rutherford is trying to install a high-powered grappling hook on the shuttle's front bumper. He aims to grab an apple out of Boimler's sweaty palm. Sadly, as it is homemade, the grappler is not entirely accurate and pins Tendi to the wall instead. Just as Rutherford begins to question the need for a grappler at all, Mariner and Boimler run to its defense, saying that grapplers are cool.

Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and Casey (Eugene Cordero) had no idea who Loki was during this era, but they immediately sensed he would be a problem, so Loki had to hotfoot it out of there! Luckily, he came back to the present soon enough, but he wouldn’t stay there for long, and Loki and Mobius had to pay a visit to Tva engineer Ob (Ke Huy Quan) to get some help.

This article contains spoilers for Loki season 2 episode 1.
For every remaining season 1 question that the Loki season 2 premiere “Ouroboros” has answered – such as where Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) ended up after killing He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) and why Mobius (Owen Wilson) didn’t recognize Loki after he was sent back to the Tva – there are just as many new mysteries left to be solved. While we still don’t know exactly why Loki was stuck slipping through time after his run-in with He Who Remains or how he was able to do so in the Tva, he was able to remedy the situation with the help of Mobius and Tva engineer Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan).
To do so, Mobius had to extract Loki’s temporal aura directly from the time stream at the same time that Loki “violently” rips himself from “every thread of time and space” aka pruning.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Loki, Season 2, Episode 1.] Loki is back and bringing on plenty of new characters to keep the fast-paced plot interesting with stars like Ke Huy Quan and Rafael Casal joining the mix. Already, questions are being raised around these latest additions, and series executive producer Kevin Wright is offering some clarity as we prepare to dive into the six-episode run this fall. Picking up where fans last saw him, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) has found himself in the Time Variance Authority (Tva) during a point in time when He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) was openly ruling. The God of Mischief takes off into a run when Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and more characters who don’t recognize him begin a pursuit. Realizing he’s in the past, Loki finds himself fading back and forth through time, landing once again in the present with Casey (Eugene Cordero) who is able...

This post contains spoilers for the latest episode of "Star Trek: Lower Decks."
When it comes to the "will-they-won't-they" romance, the "they won't" option is woefully underrated. For decades, TV fans have been trained to have an almost Pavlovian response to characters with good chemistry, expecting them to follow a pretty rigid narrative pathway towards endgame coupledom -- or, at least, a much-hyped hookup. The rom-com trope rulebook includes plenty of plot points designed to finally get the two fated characters together, from an "only one bed" situation to a love triangle to a fake dating scheme.
"Star Trek: Lower Decks" played around with the latter trope this week when besties Tendi (Noel Wells) and Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) were tasked with going undercover as a married tourist couple on Ferenginar. Instead of kicking their relationship into high gear, though, the challenge proved both uncomfortable and hilariously high-stakes. At episode's end,...
