Prey, also known as Indigenous, follows a group of tourists as they travel to the paradise of Panama for their post-graduation vacation. After meeting a few locals, the five friends decide to check out a supposedly magical waterfall deep in the jungle, despite others warning them of the lurking indigenous Chupacabras. After their guide vanishes, the group soon find they have fallen prey to something stalking them in the jungle.
In this day and age of instant gratification, the fact that a movie has taken two years to finally see the light of day in the UK – especially given how fast non-theatrical titles hit VOD these days – is usually a bad omen. And that’s totally true of Prey; a film which wastes 25 minutes of its already short, less than 80 minutes,...

Game Of Thrones star James Cosmo is to star in upcoming spy-thriller series Magnum Opus.
The actor, who plays Jeor Mormont on the HBO series Game Of Thrones, will be joined by Jamie Anderson (The Contract) and Sam Douglas (Snatch) on the project.
Timothy Gibbs is to star, co-direct, co-write and produce the series, which has been picked up by London-based production company Carnaby International.
The television series will focus on a CIA operative's fight for justice following the 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 bombing in Lockerbie that killed his parents.
Speaking to Variety about the project, Gibbs said: "This is a genuinely independently-produced TV series.
"We have gotten offers from some of the biggest, blue-chip distributors in the business to distribute Magnum Opus, one company even wanted to buy it outright but Carnaby offered us the fairest of deals, and is small enough to recognise we need a true partnership but...

A group of five American friends on the cusp of adulthood travel to Panama to relax and reconnect. The Contractby Peter Dimako, Editor Blu-ray Review: Surprisingly enough, I found this a tad better the second time around on Blu-ray disc. Unfortunately, the features are very limited. I do however love the menu layout that sits on top of scenes playing away from the film. Obviously these are the ones that offer the most action of the film. Still, I find that there could have been a lot more done performance-wise and in terms of the screenplay. For the original review of the film, please see below. For those unfamiliar with the film, here’s the story: While on a hiking trip to reconnect with his son after the death of his wife, Ray Keene (John Cusack) stumbles into a nightmare scenario of paid assassins and ex-military guns-for-hire. Frank Cardin (Morgan Freeman) is attempting to fulfill a contract to assassinate a high profile businessman when things go arwy and...
