Earlier this month, an image cinematographer Christian Sebaldt shared on Instagram indicated that Final Destination 6 (which is going by the title Final Destination: Bloodlines) was finally, after years of development and a thirteen-year gap between sequels, heading into production. The next day, producer Craig Perry took to social media to confirm that Final Destination: Bloodlines is indeed filming, the aim being to get this one into theatres in 2025 – in time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the original film. Now, it’s been revealed that the long anticipated sequel has officially wrapped principal photography. Once again, the announcement came courtesy of Perry. The film stars Brec Bassinger (Stargirl), Teo Briones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones, Rya Kihlstedt, and Tinpo Lee. It also features the return of Tony Todd in his iconic role as William Budworth, who was in the first,...

Reflections on a Decade of Survival As we commemorate the tenth anniversary of The 100, we delve into the untold narratives and scrapped storylines that could have reshaped the journey of humanity’s last survivors. The 100 knew how to do a redemption arc. Throughout its seven-season run on The CW, post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama repeatedly doubled down on one of its many thought-provoking mantras: there are no good guys. The “good guys” often did terrible things in the name of survival, and the “bad guys” were rarely through-and-through evil (although they could be “cockroaches”). Timed to the recent 10-year anniversary of the series premiere, we chatted with Richard Harmon, Lindsey Morgan, and Henry Ian Cusick about how they came to join the show, the extent to which Harmon and Cusick saw their characters as villains during the first season, and why they think The 100 has stuck around in the sci-fi genre. Murphy wasn’t originally Murphy: he was “John #1,” and he wasn’t meant to live past the show’s second episode. Harmon recalled the process of first auditioning for the show: “I originally auditioned for the role of Bellamy,...

Little did Imani (Krystal Joy Brown) know how much her life was going to change just by being stranded in the diner in which she works due to a snowstorm in Heaven Down Here. With her were her boss Dan (Richard Harmon), local pastor Felix (Juan Riedinger), and, most importantly, hospice nurse Clara (Tina Lifford), who went on to introduce her to someone who would change her and her children’s lives. When I got older, I pushed, but they weren’t forthcoming. I figured it was something ugly like I was abandoned, so I didn’t press.” Clara revealed that she knew who her grandmother is: her employer Nancy (Phylicia Rashad), whose daughter — Imani’s mother,...

Christmas Eve at Rocko’s Diner in Philadelphia finds a menu short on holiday spirit for four struggling strangers stuck during a snowstorm. Heaven Down Here is inspired by the 2020 country hit of the same name by Mickey Guyton, who executive produces the Hallmark movie and, says fellow executive producer Laurie Pozmantier, “gave us tidbits into her personal life and her husband’s personal life [for the story].” Those tales include worried widow Imani (Krystal Joy Brown), a broke waitress separated from her two children when grumpy boss Dan (Richard Harmon) forces her to work the holiday. During the night, Imani bonds with earnest diner Father Felix (Juan Riedinger), who has regrets involving his estranged adult son. “You don’t usually look at a pastor thinking that they’ve got something going on, but [Felix] needs advice too,” Pozmantier says. Also stranded is determined hospice nurse Clara (Tina Lifford), who longs to help obstinate...

The following contains The Flash spoilers.
The Flash Season 9 Episode 1
While The Flash Season 9 premiere was a light-hearted romp of the sort that we haven’t seen on this show in some time, the kick-off to the series’ final run of episodes included more than a few tantalizing hints of what’s to come in the weeks ahead, from new villains to a strange new being—who definitely isn’t Frost—that seems to suddenly be inhabiting the body Caitlin Snow’s body as a result of her trip into her homemade cryochamber.
Although “Wednesday Ever After” introduces former The 100 star Richard Harmon as a new, post-Crisis on Infinite Earths version of Owen Mercer (a.k.a. Captain Boomerang), the episode’s final moments reveal that he’s not working alone and that his literal partner in crime is someone who looks much more familiar—but is likely a whole lot more dangerous.

But the twinkle in his eye disguises a dangerous and violent threat to Central City.” The popular comic book villain was previously played by Nick E. Tarabay (Digger Harkness/Captain Boomerang) in Arrow, before being killed off in the fifth season of the series, so fans will be excited to see him return to the universe before The Flash ends. The Season 8 finale was almost the final episode of the series, according to executive producer Eric Wallace. When we were writing [the Season 8] finale,...

At its best, horror seeks to move us, entertain us, scare our pants off and elicit similar kinds of thrills as roller coasters do. But for those that aim a little higher — no, not in an "elevated horror" sort of way (whatever that means), but simply in terms of ambition — there's also an added responsibility to sneak in some clever observations about our world that we've generally taken for granted, done in ways that other genres simply aren't capable of accomplishing. In other words, with copious amounts of blood, guts, and gnarly kills.
When a particular movie or show manages to hit all those pleasure centers in our impressionable brains, it elicits the kind of cathartic responses found in something like Jordan Peele's deeply provocative "Nope." When an otherwise promising piece of horror media stumbles in that pursuit, well, let's just say that things can go sideways pretty quickly.

When Venus Williams is executive producing a romantic movie set around tennis, you know it's going to be good.
Even better for leading man Richard Harmon is his sister, Jessica Harmon, directs, allowing Richard room to breathe as he enters a new arena as a romantic lead.
Starring with Davida Williams as tennis players getting to know each other on and off the court, Richard shared his thoughts with us about swimming in new waters and what comes next.
What has excited you about your work after the successful run of The 100 and that army of devoted fans you had?
Oh, so much. Well, the movie that's coming up for sure, Game, Set, Love, I'm very excited. And that was inspiring to me to work with my sister, who's the director on that, and doing something so different than I'm used to and doing a romantic comedy.
That was fantastic.

With Richard Harmon’s new Hallmark movie, he moves into the world of romantic comedies for the first time and steps into a world he loved (and would’ve been in if he didn’t become an actor). Alongside Davida Williams, Harmon stars in Game, Set, Love, premiering on Saturday, August 27, as a hotheaded tennis player who needs help with his reputation and career. Enter Williams’ Taylor, who retired from the sport and is now teaching kids at the local club. The two, of course, clash, and end up as doubles partners for a tournament after Will’s partner (Jennifer Khoe’s Ashley) is sidelined by an injury. Tennis champion Venus Williams serves as executive producer, while former No. 1 ranked pro tennis player Tracy Austin serves as a sideline commentator in the movie playing herself. Here, Harmon talks stepping into the world of rom-coms and sports in Game, Set, Love.

“All good things come to an end. And by good things, I mean a sick penthouse, matching supercars, stupidly hot guys and vodka — way too much vodka,” narrates Jennifer Tong in the first seconds of Netflix’s new trailer for “Fakes,” a series that traces the delirious success and eventual downfall of a teen-built fake ID empire, right before the FBI raids her party.
The 10-episode half-hour dramedy tells the story of two best friends who accidentally build one of the largest fake ID businesses in North America. Deploying regular fourth wall breaks, “Fakes” traces the unraveling of their relationship in tandem with their skyrocketing success. As they get involved with a shady store employee that moves their products and blow through their mounting stacks of cash, the empire spirals out of control — eventually leading to one of the girl’s being jailed. "I have quite the weekend in store for you…" Paramount Movies has unveiled an official trailer for a freaky horror thriller Margaux, the latest bland creation from B-movie action director Steven C. Miller. Yet another new "Artificial Intelligent turns against people" uninspired thriller, especially one that's about a smart home that turns deadly (why this again?). A group of college friends rent a smart house for a weekend of partying. Later, they start to realize that "Margaux", the house's super advanced AI system, has sinister designs for them. The cast features Madison Pettis, Vanessa Morgan, Richard Harmon, Lochlyn Munro, Jedidiah Goodacre, Phoebe Miu, Jordan Buhat, Brittany Mitchell, and Louis Lay. This is another of these "how does this junk keep getting made" kind of movies. It looks so cheesy and forgettable. ›››

Don’t Return focuses on a college student who, after the death of his father, returns to his family home (the opposite of the UK retitling of this film!) along with his best friend and girlfriend, only to uncover some bad memories from his childhood that he didn’t even realise were there.
Much of Don’t Return feels as formulaic and uninspiring as the title but the are glimmers of what could have been. Its shining light might just be its two leads. Richard Harmon plays Rodger, the brilliant mathematical college student returning home. It’s a fairly understated performance, the character isn’t very flash and Harmon is, like his co-lead Echo Andersson, best when the scenes are at their most emotional.

Of course, horror is well known for having killer puppets. Depending on how you define ‘puppet’, there’s been Chucky, Annabelle, Jigsaw and others in films like Poltergeist, Krampus and Dolls. Puppet Killer is the first I remember to feature a fluffy pink puppet though.
Hat puppet and it’s owner are big horror movie fans though and so obviously end up in a cabin in the woods with a murderer (guess who) out to kill the group of friends staying there. It’s predictable but it’s supposed to be. This is a movie clearly made by people who like their old school horror movies, and as this one is a comedy, they have some fun with it and the usual horror movie clichés.

Happy Tuesday! Or, happy VOD movie release day.
A fun flick for supernatural thriller fans drops today, and it stars the multitalented Richard Harmon, a TV Fanatic favorite.
Playing his girlfriend is Sara Thompson, which means that The 100's Murphy and Josephine are getting it on!
As I've said so many times before, the right cast helps sell a movie regardless of budget.
In this case, the cast is minimal, with Harmon, Thompson, and Echo Andersson getting the most screen time.
The story follows Roger, a young man whose father has died.
In the wake of that loss, Roger, his girlfriend, Beth, and best friend, Jordan, return to his childhood home to deal with the aftermath.
Roger's family life is filled with tragedy. His father was the last living member of his immediate family after his younger sister died in childhood and his mother disappeared, never to be seen again.
