We have been hot on the trail for clues about the Pretty Little Liars spin-off, Ravenswood and today the picture gets even sharper. The new young adult series has chosen two fresh faces to join the ABC Family cast. They are actors Brett Dier and Elizabeth Whitson.
Ravenswood is a town under the cloud of generations-old curse. In a way, its too bad Tyler Blackburn has to move there, but on the other hand, the transition promises his fans more of Caleb Rivers. So, what might get sticky for Caleb promises to be entertaining for TV viewers. He’s leading us from Pretty Little Liars into the spin-off and Dier and Whitson will meet him there. You may recognize Dier as Brandon Kelly from season 2 of L.A. At least no one's getting their head blown off. But Ryan Gosling's latest flick Drive is inspiring some truly bizarre reactions. Look, we loved the bloody flick (and the smokin' hot chemistry between Ry and cutie Carey Mulligan) as much as the next popcorn muncher, but that doesn't mean we're out throwing hot dogs at not-so-hot dawgs... So what exactly is this film "inspiring" people to do? Ever heard of Brandon Kelly? The average Joe became a viral hit—and a mug shot star—when he threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods Tuesday during a golf tournament at the CordeValle Golf Club in California. So what led him to premeditate this meaty crime? Drive,...

No, that headline did not come from one of those weird dreams you have when you go to bed drunk. It actually happened.
On Sunday (Oct. 9), a fan threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during the Frys tournament in San Martin, Calif. "I guess he wanted to be in the news...And I'm sure he will be," Tiger said, unshaken.
Now, the hot-dog thrower speaks! 31-year-old Brandon Kelly of Petaluma, Calif. tells the Press Democrat that he was inspired to throw it after seeing Ryan Gosling's latest film, "Drive."
Seriously."As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, 'I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger,'" he says. The morning before he made the fateful throw, Kelly took a photo of himself in his car, holding his hot dog by the steering wheel.

I have to now wonder if Brandon Kelly, the 31-year-old who threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods over the weekend, is some sort of genius, pointing out the stupidity of blaming movies for your actions as he has now told the Santa Rosa Press Democrat (via THR) he threw the hot dog at Woods because he was inspired by the movie Drive. "I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie Drive," Kelly was quoted as saying. "As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, 'I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'" This comes on the heels of the news I brought to you yesterday of the woman in Detroit suing FilmDistrict and a local theater because Drive wasn't enough like Fast and the Furious.

The man who threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods has revealed that the incident was inspired by the Ryan Gosling film Drive. Brandon Kelly, who was arrested for the misdemeanour told the AP that he wanted to do "something courageous and epic" after viewing the film. "I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie Drive," Kelly said. "As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, 'I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger'." Watch Kelly throw (more)...

Ryan Gosling can make grown men do strange things. After Crazy, Stupid, Love. opened in July, I know several average middle-aged dads from the neighborhood who purged their wardrobe and went to the barbershop on a rejuvenation mission. Gosling’s suave svengali was a little cartoonish, but he was undeniably cool — and it had only a little to do with his Photoshopped abs. But 31-year-old Brandon Kelly went a bit further than a wardrobe upgrade last Sunday at the Frys.com Open golf tournament, when he was arrested for throwing a hot dog at Tiger Woods.

Besides being one of the best movies of the year, "Drive" has also seemingly become a magnet for crazy people. There is the Detroit woman you heard about over the weekend who sued FilmDistrict because "Drive" wasn't "Fast Five" and she (idiotically) claimed it promoted violence against Jewish people. Well, it seems Ryan Gosling crushing a man's face to bits has "inspired" another deranged individual. We don't watch golf, but apparently Brandon Kelly from Petaluma, Calif. had nothing better to do last Sunday than to show up at the Frys.com Open and throw a hot dog at Tiger Woods for…...

Call us crazy, but the only thoughts we had while watching Drive last weekend were 1) how do we get Ryan Gosling to kiss us on the mouth and 2) Do you think he’ll let us borrow that jacket? He would, right? He seems like a nice guy. Now we find that, not only did the Drive trailer baffle at least one audience member, but it also inspired some meat-related crime! Meat-related crime against Tiger Woods!
In a sad attempt to be a real human being and a real hero, Tiger Woods hot dog hurler Brandon Kelly apparently chucked said wiener at the golfer during the Frys.com Open, telling police later, “I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie Drive. As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a...

First, a woman sued after seeing Ryan Gosling's "Drive" claiming the movie didn't live up to the trailer. Now, a man claims the actor's movie inspired him to throw a hot dog at Tiger Woods.
"I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie 'Drive,'" Brandon Kelly told the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, via The Associated Press, after he was arrested on Tuesday for tossing the snack food at the golfer during the Frys.com Open in San Martin, Calif.

If you don't follow golf closely — and, just being realistic, you probably don't if you're under forty-five — you may have missed the story about the man, Brandon Kelly, who threw a hotdog (with bun) at Tiger Woods over the weekend, just as Tiger was about to make a put at the Frys.com Open. The food item hit neither the golfer nor the golf ball, and Kelly was taken to the ground pretty quickly. The obvious question is: why? Did he harbor some sort of resentment towards Woods for the sports star's serial cheating? Was he angry that the phenom has seemingly lost his mojo since the scandal broke? Was he just a little insane? Maybe that last one! But his stated reason is just too good to ignore: “I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie ‘Drive,'&[...]...

We recently reported about a woman who is suing the filmmakers behind "Drive" for releasing a trailer that made the movie seem more like "Fast and the Furious." And now comes word that the man who threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during a golf tournament on Sunday, blames "Drive" as well. "I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie 'Drive,'" said the 31-year-old Brandon Kelly. "As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, .I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'. Kelly did just that. But as soon as he threw the hot dog, he dropped to the ground for security to arrest him. He did not reveal the precise reason for his actions, leaving many wondering why "Drive" would inspire him, considering...

Yes, you read that right. And no, we're not making this up.
A young man threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods at the Frys.com Open last weekend because "Drive" told him to do it, according to Deadspin.
Brandon Kelly, a 31-year-old man from Petaluma, California, told the Santa Rosa Press Democrat about the incident, for which he was initially hoping to remain anonymous.
"I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie ‘Drive,'" Kelly said. "As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.'"
We've seen "Drive," and while there are moments that can be interpreted as both "courageous" and "epic," we don't recall any scene involving a hot dog or Tiger Woods or even the game of golf in general.

As stunning and incredible as Nicolas Winding Refn's Drive may be, apparently it's developing a habit of making people do some incredibly dumb things. It began earlier this week when it was reported that a woman suing Film District, the studio distributing the movie, because the trailer led her to believe that Drive was a Fast and Furious-style action film. As remarkably idiotic as that is, however, it's nothing compared to this new story. Last weekend a man threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during the Frys.com Open and when asked what his reasoning was, he said that he was inspired by Refn's movie. Speaking with the Santa Rosa Press Democrat (via Deadspin), the man, named Brandon Kelly, said that the film made him feel as though he needed to do something "courageous and epic," and apparently he felt throwing food at the greatest golfer on...

R. Kelly’s teenage nephew has been shot, after allegedly attempting to rob a barbershop in Chicago. That’s awful! Couldn’t he have just borrowed some money from his uncle? 15-year old Brandon Kelly was taken to the hospital late last night with chest injuries after being shot twice by the owner of the barber shop. Police are saying it was Kelly’s fault, but the boy’s father, R. Kelly’s brother, says his child is the victim in the situation, and may have been caught up in someone else’s crime. According to Fox News Chicago,...
