Megan Fox has reached out to crew members working on the Transformers film franchise after they branded her "dumb" and "ungracious".
An open letter from three unnamed Transformers workers surfaced on the internet earlier this month, criticising Fox after she compared director Michael Bay to Hitler and called him "hopelessly awkward" during an interview.
The message went on to brand Fox "about as ungracious a person as you can ever fathom," adding that the brunette beauty "shows little interest in the crew members around her. We work to make her look good in every way, but she's absolutely never appreciative of anyone's hard work."
Bay proceeded to defend the 23 year old against the allegations, telling fans he didn't "condone" the crew's letter to the star - and now Fox herself has reached out to her disgruntled colleagues to smooth out the controversy.
She says in a statement, "I have spoken with the parties involved privately. I am very fortunate to be involved in this amazing franchise and look forward to Transformers 3."
Meanwhile, another Transformers collaborator has spoken up to defend Fox against the criticism.
A letter written by production assistant Anthony Steinhart reads, "I read the letter by the three unnamed crew people and was blown away by their description of Ms Fox. I have personally never been nor ever witnessed Ms Fox being rude or inconsiderate of people’s feelings or the work to be done. Everyone is entitled to their good days and bad. Contrary to popular belief, she is like us (human) and has both good and bad days as well."...

The saga continues! For those of you who've fallen behind on your Megan Fox news -- here's a quick primer. First, in an interview with British magazine Wonderland, notoriously loose-lipped and quip-happy Transformers star Megan Fox said that Michael Bay is "like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is." Days later, a response letter -- allegedly from three anonymous Transformers crew members -- hit the web, claiming that Fox was difficult to work with."Who is the real Megan Fox?" the writers asked. "She is very different than the academy nominee and winning actors we've all worked around. She's as about ungracious a person as you can ever fathom." Bay then followed-up: "I don't condone the crew letter to Megan," he wrote in a post on his website. "And I don't condone Megan's outlandish quotes.
