Sylvester Stallone is returning to the mean streets of Philadelphia for AGC Studios’ forthcoming crime thriller Epiphany. Focusing on a hard-boiled detective on the verge of retirement, the soon-to-be former police detective must team up with a younger cop and former priest to hunt and apprehend a serial killer on a murderous rampage through the wintery streets of the Keystone State.
Will Eubank (Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin) directs from a screenplay by Katie Lovejoy and Russell Sommer. The independent film "If I Were Dictator" is finding success, including film festival awards and thousands of hits to its website. The first full-length feature film by Miami-based filmmaker Justin Routt is a dark comedy that has kept audiences laughing.
"We just won our first film festival award, the Indie Fest for Award of Merit for 'If I Were Dictator,'" Routt told Celebrity News Service, adding that they have applied to 30 more festivals and hope to win awards there too.
"If I Were Dictator" centers around a man who has a solution to make the world a utopia. While no one will listen to his ideas, they finally take notice once he creates the greatest invention ever known to man. They become so impressed, they make him dictator.
