The vibes surrounding Ava (Maura West) on General Hospital have some viewers worried it may be lights out for the beloved actress.
When Ava busted on the scene during May sweeps in 2013, she added another layer of drama. She was a Jerome — a part of the General Hospital 80s mob crime family.
It was messy, and the addition added another layer of 80s nostalgia to the show. Ava was also added to give Derek Wells, later revealed to be Julian Jerome (William deVry), another family member.
And while she has been around for 11 years, there is speculation that Ava could be done for, or at least exiting Port Charles in the coming weeks.
The writers have backed Ava into a corner. She lives with Sonny (Maurice Benard), knowing his medication dosage is off. This is reminiscent of the storyline with Morgan (Bryan Craig), which ended in his death because she messed with his medication.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers report that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is still reeling from the effects of his beatdown of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Although he continues to see it as though he was in the right to go after Dex, he hates that his daughter — Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) — was a witness to the violent event.
Kristina could barely catch her breath as she tried to digest what she had just seen with her own two eyes.
Likewise, Sonny was left feeling like he could barely breathe too as he wondered whether he’d just lost his daughter forever. In the weeks ahead, he’ll certainly come to feel that way — and he may get weak enough on the heels of losing Kristina’s love to let someone else make him feel better again. Will that someone else be Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)?

As fans already know, the strongest army of the Quinchy, Wandenreich’s Sternritter, was the reason behind the war in Tite Kubo’s Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, as they served as the main antagonist of the series. They are extremely strong, and each Sternritter possesses power equal to or more than the Captains of the Gotei 13.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War | Studio Pierrot
However, while they might be the strongest villains in the series, many fans believe that they are not perfectly created. While the anime series might not have shown their complete potential till now, the manga has completed their narratives, and some of these plotlines have some mistakes that have been committed by Kubo while creating them.
These mistakes were pointed out during a Reddit discussion where fans shared their opinions on Kubo’s biggest blunders while creating the Sternritter. While these mistakes did not have a major impact...

The Good Doctor’s television run is now officially over, as the show’s long-awaited finale premiered this week. Despite all the heart-shattering plot twists that the season has been shocking its fans with throughout its whole run, the ending didn’t seem that tragic or dramatic at all, even though there was still some room for grieving.
Apart from the fact that the show left all its main characters in quite good positions in life, it also finally made it up to someone whose tragedy wasn’t The Good Doctor’s main focus.
The Finale Makes Bittersweet Closure for a Heartbreaking Story
The seventh season’s episode 5, titled Who At Peace, had fans dumbfounded by Dr. Asher Wolke’s tragic death when he was brutally killed by two anti-semites near a synagogue. Asher’s passing came as something even more heartbreaking given that he was finally about to embrace...

For creator, writer, director and co-showrunner Boots Riley, the idea for his Amazon Prime Video series “I’m a Virgo” came from “just wanting to talk about the differences between perception of people and how they perceive themselves.” Specifically, “if you saw a 13-foot-tall Black man walking down the street, the last thing most people would think about is what he thinks about himself, so I wanted to talk about that” and explore “people connecting to each other on a personal one-to-one level, but also on a societal level.”
But how did he turn lead actor Jharrel Jerome into that gentle giant? We gathered Riley and Jerome, along with costume designer Deirdra Elizabeth Govan, production designer Maxwell Orgell and visual effects supervisor Todd Perry for a special roundtable panel to discuss the making of the unique social satire. Watch it above.

It seems today that all you see is cartoon shows with little continuity.
Nevertheless, Seth MacFarlane’s Family Guy, as obscene and silly as it may be, decides to switch up its “canon” every so often. Whether it’s due to the passing of a cast member, attempts at a ratings stunt, or (unintentional) acts of progressiveness for its characters’ development, the Griffin family’s world within Quahog for the past 25 years of airing has only expanded.
Here are some of the most significant canon changes in Family Guy history.
Revival With Yolo Energy
Due to low ratings, Family Guy faced the cancellation gun early into its lifespan. But in its death, the great bird-is-the-word got around via DVD sales and rerun airings on Adult Swim. Thus, in its rebirth on Fox in 2005, the show became cruder, bloodier, and edgier than ever, both in its art style and spirit. The...

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers note that Ava Jerome (Maura West) may be down, but she’s far from out. She’s lost her friendship with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) in an attempt to get closer to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and while the two were bonding, the mob boss has since cozied up to Natalia Ramirez (Eva Larue).
On top of all that, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) recently threatened her, and made it known that the FBI was now following her every move.
Unbeknownst to Ava, she also has Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) on high alert, thanks to inquiring about Sonny’s meds to the hospital’s pharmacist. Still, no one should ever count Ava out.
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Will Approach Ava Jerome
Gh spoilers suggest that as Valentin now believes Ava’s been poking around in his business, he’ll draw her in for more leverage.

“Definitely the most challenging thing I’ve had to do thus far as an actor, a lot of mental gymnastics involved,” Jharrel Jerome admits about the uniqueness of his role in the Boots Riley-created absurdist series I’m A Virgo, on which he plays a previously extremely sheltered 13-foot-tall Oakland teen. “At no point do I look my scene partners in the eye, and as an actor that’s so critical, you know, as connection.”

England in 1536, a time when King Henry VIII started beefing with the Catholic Church because divorce was a hard ask even for a King back then. Jokes aside, the age of Reformation brought a whole lot of changes to the country, and big and powerful monasteries got the worst end of the bargain. Based on C. J. Even though the show Shardlake is purely a work of fiction, a few of the real-life historical events it’s based on make it more intriguing. The Reformation in England under King Henry VIII remains an important part of the history of England, and one of the key players in executing the reformation was Lord Cromwell. Serving as the principal advisor to King Henry, Cromwell shut monasteries down all over the country. In this article, we’re going to look into the depths of this ruthless and inhumane historical figure, portrayed by the wonderful Sean Bean.

The Jesus story wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Spoilers for The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 7 made it seem like this would be a ridiculous story, but by halfway through the hour, "Jesus" had been cured of his delusions and was struggling with feelings of inadequacy.
That was utterly on-brand for The Good Doctor, yet entirely unpredictable. Well played!
Most stories of this nature follow a pattern in which something miraculous happens to make the skeptics and non-believers wonder whether they've encountered the Son of God after all.
Thankfully, The Good Doctor didn't use that tired TV trope. Instead, Jesus' story turned into a tale about a guy who felt so insignificant that he convinced himself he was Jesus to feel like he mattered in this world.
Many people are walking around like that, desperate for someone to notice them so they can prove to themselves they're not invisible.

In Hulu’s Shardlake, as in Arthurian legend, a hand emerges from a body of water bearing a sword. Though lacking Excalibur’s magical touch, this blade’s discovery does serve the ambitions of a monarch. After splitting England from the Catholic Church in 1534, King Henry VIII and his chief minister, Thomas Cromwell (Sean Bean), have begun dissolving monasteries across the realm and seizing their wealth. The decapitation of Cromwell’s representative (Michael Rivers) at an abbey near the remote, boggy town of Scarnsea presents an opportunity to advance that crusade, with Cromwell sending an odd couple of agents to investigate the incident, commanding them to find sufficient reason to shutter the order.
In the third episode, the monks watch in horror as endearingly determined lawyer Matthew Shardlake (Arthur Hughes) and Jack Barak (Anthony Boyle), the cocksure enforcer assigned to accompany him, find the submerged murder weapon on their grounds.

CBS’ medical drama The Good Doctor with the cast led by Freddie Highmore is getting closer to the end of its television run as the show’s final episode is set to be released on May 7.
Having the seventh season as its last one, the series could’ve drawn so many great opportunities out of the final episodes to dot the I's and cross the T’s — and it got really close to sending a very important message out to the public, but crashed it all in the nick of time.
The Good Doctor’s final season still features Dr. Asher Wolke, portrayed by Noah Galvin, who made his first appearance back in season 5. Asher happens to be the only gay among the main characters of the show and by the end of the last season is getting prepared for the wedding with his boyfriend Jerome Martel who also works in the hospital.

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about lotsa shows including Ghosts, Ripley, S.W.A.T. and Law & Order: Organized Crime!
1 | In the finale of Netflix’s Ripley, would Inspector Ravini, who’d been shown to be very observant and savvy to this point, really not recognize Tom as the person he spoke to at length as Dickie Greenleaf, even with Tom’s ridiculous wig and the dim lighting?

We knew it was coming, but it didn’t make it any less difficult.
The Good Doctor Season 7, Episode 6, found the St. Bonaventure staff reacting to and processing Dr. Asher Wolke’s (Noah Galvin) death.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Asher was brutally killed off in an antisemitic, anti-lgbtq+ attack while confronting a group of people destroying a synagogue.
The cliffhanger left Asher out cold, and Tuesday’s new episode picked up with the beloved character’s funeral.
In one of the series’ most heartbreaking moments, Asher’s friend Jordan (Bria Samone Henderson) gave the eulogy and opened up about how they became friends despite coming from very different worlds.
“I’m a devout Christian from Oakland, and he was an orthodox Jew-turned-atheist from Brooklyn,” she began.
Asher’s closest friend delivered a heartbreaking eulogy
“But when we met at St. Bons, he became my closest friend.”

Hulu has shared the trailer and key art for Shardlake, the new series based on the popular Tudor murder mystery novels by C.J. Sansom. The series premieres on Wednesday, May 1, on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in select territories.
Drenched in mystery, suspense, and deception, this four-part drama, based on the first novel in C.J. Sansom’s book series, is an eerie whodunnit adventure set in 16th-century England during the dissolution of the monasteries.
Shardlake’s sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when Cromwell instructs him to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery in the remote town of Scarnsea. The commissioner was gathering evidence to close the monastery, and it is now imperative for Cromwell’s own political survival that Shardlake both solves the murder and closes the monastery.
He leaves Shardlake in no doubt...

An uncanny resemblance isn’t the only thing Barney Stinson’s long-lost father (played by John Lithgow) shares with Dexter‘s legendary Trinity Killer. “We started to get worried because there are some similarities to his character on Dexter,” reveals How I Met Your Mother cocreator Carter Bays, pointing out that much like Trinity, the elusive Jerome Whitaker “is a family man who lives in the suburbs.”
There’s one minor difference between the two, however: Jerome doesn’t, you know, murder people. “We took that out,” Bays deadpans. “He’s not going to be naked in the bathtub strangling someone.
