The 29-year-old told British GQ that while he identifies as straight, taking on some roles within “queer stories” has left him with a sense of “perhaps guilt.” In the last few years, Galitzine has starred as Prince Henry in Amazon Prime’s gay romance Red, White & Royal Blue, as well as George Villiers in Sky Original’s queer period drama Mary & George.

It feels like Nicholas Galitzine is everywhere these days. He clearly has a knack for playing royals — he starred as Prince Henry in Prime Video’s Red, White & Royal Blue in 2023 and is now making waves with his portrayal of George Villiers in Starz’s steamy historical drama Mary & George. Coupled with high-profile projects like The Idea of You on the horizon, the 29-year-old actor is well on his way to becoming Hollywood’s next “it” boy.
But before Galitzine was starring opposite Anne Hathaway, he got his start the way many rising actors do: on Lifetime. One of his earliest projects was Lifetime’s 2017 horror movie The Watcher in the Woods, where he played Marcus, a teenage boy who lives on a farm in a small Welsh village.

The two co-stars shared a great rapport on set which saw Moore poking lighthearted fun at Galitzine’s fractured ankle on the sets of the show.

Since making his screen debut in 2010, Nick Robinson has enjoyed relative success in movies and TV shows. The American actor began his career in theater after being discovered by a talent scout when he was 11. His ever-supportive parents moved the entire family from their hometown in Seattle, Washington, to Los Angeles after Robinson landed a role as a series regular on a TV show. Returning to the big screen, with his last feature film appearance in 2021 (Silk Road), Nick Robinson was cast as Prince Henry on Netflix’s dark fantasy Damsel (2024). As Prince Henry, Robinson plays one...

“There are many stories of chivalry where the heroic knight saves the damsel in distress,” a voice informs us before a single image appears on the screen. “This is not one of them.” It probably isn’t necessary to prep and/or warn viewers that Damsel, Netflix’s expensive-looking throw of the cinematic D&d dice, isn’t your typical sword-and-sorcery fantasy before it’s even started, but thanks for the heads up. For one thing, there’s no sorcery in it unless you count the magic that certain performers...

In Damsel, Princess Elodie is married off to Prince Henry. From the outside, it looks like a fairy tale story. But Henry’s family sacrifices Elodie’s life to save their bloodlines. Nick Robinson, in the role of Prince Henry, has been projected as a character who is caught in a dilemma of choosing sides between good and evil. He is, however, only a tool in the hands of his evil mother, the Queen of Aurea, Isabelle. Robin Wright has done an excellent job of playing the role of the vile queen, who intends to sacrifice innocents to keep her bloodline going. Will Henry betray Elodie? What was Isabelle’s motive? Why did she decide to appease the dragon by feeding it young maidens? Let’s find out the motive of the mother-son duo!

Written by Dan Mazeau and directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, Damsel is based on the story of a damsel in distress. However, this distressed damsel doesn’t require any prince to save her, as she is equipped enough to save herself. Just like any other dark fantasy film—The Chronicles of Narnia or Maleficent—this film is replete with visual splendor. The most intriguing element of the lot is the wonderful cast of the movie. Casting renowned actors like Millie Bobby Brown (who is also known for her appearance in Stranger Things) has been an added advantage to the groundbreaking film.
Elodie
Played by Millie Bobby Brown, the character of Elodie has been portrayed to be that of a valiant warrior who is intent on making her way out of the abyss. She is gullible enough to be tricked into believing that her nuptial ties with Prince Henry would secure...

Plot: A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive.
Review: The idea of the anti-fairy tale is nothing new. From the grounded Cinderella tale Ever After starring Drew Barrymore to the John Wick-inspired The Princess starring Joey King, outdated stories of helpless maidens needing to be rescued by Prince Charming have lost their appeal in recent years. With empowerment narratives sometimes going too far in the opposite direction, striking a balance between good storytelling without archaic stereotypes is a tricky endeavor. While Disney has tried to flip the script with animated projects like Frozen or the live-action Maleficent, Netflix has delivered an update to the age-old stories of dragons, royalty, and knights with their dark fantasy Damsel.

It's been a few months since Netflix has given us any updates on "Damsel," the upcoming fantasy thriller starring Millie Bobby Brown, but today we've finally been gifted a new look at the film and, of course, that dragon. The first trailer kept things mum, with Mbb staying completely silent throughout, emphasizing the action, spectacle, and gorgeous costuming. Netflix first presented the film with the tagline "This is Not a fairy tale," and today's new trailer looks like "Damsel" will be subverting all the typical tropes we associate with tales of princesses and larger-than-life beasts. Here's the official synopsis from Netflix:
"A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive."

Millie Bobby Brown has transformed into a hardcore warrior slaying dragons in the new trailer for her upcoming fantasy-action film ‘Damsel’. If you forgot, Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine starred in the LGBTQ+ rom-com (based on a novel of the same name from author Casey McQuiston) as Alex Claremont-Diaz, First Son of the first female president of the United States, and Prince Henry.
The movie premiered on Prime Video over the summer in the midst of the strike, so the costars weren’t able to acknowledge its release. Now that the strike is over, they both took to social media to thank fans for their support.
Meanwhile, Casey was asked about a sequel and seemingly hinted that something might be in the works!

For most of Hollywood’s history, the romantic comedy genre has been dominated by straight, heteronormative storytelling that caters to the most simplistic common denominator in society. Rom-coms are often popcorn flicks that create a fantasy between a man and a woman that isn’t hard to understand, yet they rarely make people think about deeper themes or diverse representations.
Enter the LGBTQ+ rom-com. As progressive thinking has become more accepted, filmmakers, studios, and distributors have gotten more comfortable with giving queer people a vision for their own lives with stories that look a little more like their own. LGBTQ+ rom-coms often give non-straight identifying people a chance to feel normal and loved, and at other times they are the same sappy happenstance stories that their straight counterparts are famous for. Either way, LGBTQ+ rom-coms are very much in vogue. Here are the best ones you need to watch right now!

Peacock’s decision to license episodes of its long-running legal drama “Suits” to streaming competitor Netflix is starting to look so good that the lawyers at Pearson Hardman couldn’t even have foreseen the results. Since coming over from the NBCUniversal streamer, the 2011 series has been one of Netflix’s top performers, rising to third in its American streaming TVcharts for the week between July 17 and July 23, having previously been as high as No. 2. Only the Netflix originals “Sweet Magnolias” and “Quarterback” outdid the first season of “Suits” in the United States during the same time period.

WGA member López stationed himself in a holding room inside the building, well away from the red carpet, because, he said, “I’m on strike as a screenwriter but not as a playwright and not as a director.”
His two stars Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez were not in attendance. As members of SAG-AFTRA “they’re on strike,” López said.
After our conversation, the filmmaker made his way into the Imax auditorium and addressed the audience as director of the film.

Sanditon is back for its third and final season on PBS. The romantic period drama’s last outing kicks off on Sunday, March 19 and will wrap up the story of Charlotte Heywood, played by Rose Williams.
Fans will soon have to say goodbye to Williams as Charlotte. However, they can still check out some of her other work, which includes roles in shows and movies such as Reign, That Dirty Black Bag, and Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.
