- (1979) Along with Robert Janes, Williams co-wrote the story for the 1979 episode of Hawaii Five-O (1968) in which he guess-starred, Stringer (1979).
- (July 2006) He and Garry Marshall recently completed work on a stage production of "Happy Days - The Musical", which premiered at the Falcon Theater in California. Marshall wrote the book, and Williams wrote the music and lyrics. In October 2008, it was on a national tour, and played at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in California.
- (2007) His musical adaptation of Garry Marshall's hit series, "Happy Days - The Musical", was performed at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.
- (June 1983) His musical, "Bugsy Malone", was performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, England with Jeremy Gilley/Wayne Goddard, Joiese Waller/Jo Wyatt, Lee Ross/Jonathan Rees, Warren Saire/Dominic Murphy, Gail McLean/Frances Joyce, Gavin Lee (aged 11) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (aged 13) in the cast. Micky Dolenz was the director.
