Here's a collection of great looking Game of Thrones art that was created for a Mondo art show currently taking place at SXSW.
These are 20 original poster designs, and they are selling over at Mondo for between $600 to $15,000. Some of them though are being released as limited edition prints for less. Mondo CEO Justin Ishmael had this to say in a statement,
Game of Thrones is a favorite of ours at Mondo. The gallery event is intended to honor the show’s attention to visual detail and the beautiful world that George R.R. Martin has imagined … we hope the fans feel our work has done justice to the show.
The artists who were included in the show includes Craig Drake, Daniel Danger, Ken Taylor, Sanjulian, Audrey Kawasaki, Jock, Killian Eng, Esao Andrews, Tom Bagshaw, Jacob Bannon, Tim Bradstreet, Bruce White, Chet Zar, Jason Edmiston, Thomas Hooper, Joao Ruas, Audrey Kawasaki,...

Here are some amazing velvet paintings by artist Bruce White depicting characters from movies, television and documentaries. If these don't help you geek out I don't know what will.
These pics look great, but I'm sure the paintings are even more stunning in person with the nice velvet background. They range from around $300-600 dollars, and you can order them at nineteeneightyeight.com. If you want to get your geek on, you better act quick because these are selling out fast!
You could probably name the tv show or movie these characters are from, but can you name each of these characters?

Until Audiobro’s La Scoring Strings: First Chair (Lass First Chair) library first made an appearance a couple of years ago, Vienna Symphonic Library’s DVD Solo Strings library was pretty much the only serious solo string game in town. Lass First Chair was never originally intended to be for lead parts as such – as the name suggests, it’s the first chair in the full Lass ensemble and strictly speaking not lead at all. But it has nevertheless been adopted for this purpose by many composers – it was eventually launched as a standalone product; it has a good expressive range and it is very easy to play.
Now into the marketplace comes a completely new offering: Spitfire Audio Solo Strings. In contrast to Lass, which is relatively dry, Spitfire makes their space an integral part of the library, recording at the world renowned Air Studios in London. Perhaps even more significant,...
