- Christopher Tucker designed the makeup for Andrew Lloyd Webber's mega box musical, "The Phantom of the Opera" for the star of the show when it premiered, actor/singer/writer Michael Crawford. Apparently it took six months to design and perfect the makeup and originally it took 3 hours to put on at first, but they reduced it to a half hour. After Crawford left the show, the makeup was changed to suit the replacement actor.
