- TriviaAs if December 2003, he and his wife of 47 years Gayle Gibson, are retired and living the good life on a quiet seven-acre spread on Oregon's North Umpqua River. They enjoy frequent visits from family and friends. They both won many awards over the years including an International Emmy for producing Rich Little's Christmas Carol (1978) as well as many Canadian awards. They worked with many stars, among them Marilyn Monroe, Bill Cosby, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Suzanne Somers, Bob Hope, Stan Kenton, Mel Tormé, the Smothers Brothers. They enjoyed their work and the many people they met over 50-plus years in TV and movies. However, they don't miss "the biz" one bit.
