Anna Delvey became a viral sensation in 2018 thanks to a New York magazine story by Jessica Pressler that delved into how Delvey, not yet 25, fooled dozens of high-rolling New Yorkers — from luxury hotel managers and personal trainers to Nobu founder Richie Notar and, crucially, investment bankers — into thinking she was an heiress. They believed her when she said that the wire transfer was coming or that the credit card was good, just because she dressed and acted the part. That little trick yielded months of hotel stays she never paid for and came awfully close to netting her millions of dollars in loans to start an art-focused social club she called the Anna Delvey Foundation. The story went viral because it read like a Netflix series you couldn’t wait to watch. That Netflix series has arrived, and it delivers.

After a lackluster episode last week, Batwoman returned this week with possibly the best episode all season. A villain is killed off, Kate crosses the one line that Batman never did, and we learn why Alice is Alice.
Batwoman is hand-delivered a captured Doctor Cartwright with a note stuffed in his mouth stating, “Ask about mommy dearest”. Kate proceeds to take Cartwright back to the private section of her club, The Hold Up, and calls on her father, Jacob, to help interrogate the good doctor. Jacob is then caught up to speed on a few things: His daughter Alice is actually alive, and Cartwright is a master manipulator and a villain the Crows should have devoted their time to investigating instead of chasing Batwoman.

Batwoman Episode 15
Since the great episode “Mine Is a Long and a Sad Tale” when Alice revealed what happened to her after the car accident, it has felt like there was another shoe to drop in the story of how Beth became Alice. Holy hell, was there ever.
Batwoman pivoted to horror for an episode that found a new level of emotional intensity and sends our hero on what one can only assume is an existential downward spiral for the ages. After showing flashback scenes with the girls’ mother, it truly felt like we might learn that Mama Kane was somehow alive. Plenty of other shows would have done that. Instead, it turns out August Cartwright fished her out of the river, cut off her head, kept it in a refrigerator, and was stalling on putting her face on his mother. When even Cartwright knows something is evil,...

Taste the happy, Netflix subscribers – producer Brian Grazer confirmed on the Adam Carolla Show podcast this week that Arrested Development will begin production on new episodes for the streaming giant sometime next year.
“Netflix is determined to do more epsiodes, so we’re going to do more episodes,” Grazer told Carolla, noting that everything is only just falling into place for a fifth season of the beloved cult comedy, which was famously revived for an online fourth season seven years after Fox originally pulled the plug. Reviews were mixed-to-positive on Netflix’s continuation, and the series was such a reputation-booster for Netflix that it makes sense that the company would want to double down on more Bluth misadventures.
Production will start early next year, Grazer said, and fans can expect to see new episodes “four months after that,” so in the late spring or early summer of 2016. Grazer told Caolla...

A review of tonight's "Parks and Recreation" coming up just as soon as I want a banana made of spiders... "Parks and Rec" didn't have to open this season with a perfect episode like "London," but it sure helped, given that the previous season had started to show signs of aging. Similarly, we didn't need a great episode our first time out after the departures of Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe — especially since Ann and Chris were pretty marginal before they left — but it felt very reassuring to return from the Olympic hiatus with such a fabulous installment like "Anniversaries." It's not an episode that does anything fancy: no trips to foreign countries, no last-minute wedding ceremonies, not even a Macklin/Snakehole adventure. It's just a half hour where the stories and jokes are firing on all cylinders, and where everything neatly connects to everything else. Leslie is busy with...

Look at you being cute and trying to shock with the reveal that President Grant's (Tony Goldwyn) chief of staff Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) was the man behind Amanda Tanner's (guest star Liza Weil) death. And, yeah, it was shocking -- for Season 1. But we've got people eating through their wrists now.

If it’s been too long since you’ve seen a hot kiss between Scandal’s Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Olivia (Kerry Washington), you’re welcome: We’ve got exclusive video of a deleted scene that includes one from the extras on the season 2 DVD, which is out today. You might recall the election night lip-lock from the montage played in the explosive episode ”Nobody Likes Babies,” when, Spoiler Alert, dying Verna (Debra Mooney) explained to Olivia why she’d hired an assassin to shoot Fitz.
The clip is an example of why Scandal, in some fans’ eyes, has finally...

The May 2 episode of "Scandal," titled "A Woman Scorned," gave new meaning to the words "game-changer" -- not only did we witness Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) choosing his relationship with Olivia (Kerry Washington) over his marriage to Mellie (Bellamy Young), but in retaliation, Mellie went live on national television to reveal that her husband was having an affair.
So where do our troubled characters go from here? In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, creator Shonda Rhimes admitted, "Fitz's declaration also changed the fabric of the show as well. Everything is turned on its end at the end of Thursday's episode. And next week, nothing is the same."
Still, Olivia challenged Fitz to "earn" her in Thursday's episode, and his decision to sit and watch her watch him as the clock on Mellie's ultimatum ran out certainly seemed to put the dysfunctional couple back on the same page -- but can...

"Scandal" has piled on the plot twists so fast and thick in its short lifespan that finding out who tried to kill Fitz, and his reaction to it, in Thursday's (Feb. 7) episode, felt like just another "whoa" moment in a show that lives for them.
The way some of "Scandal's" characters are shaping up, though, is cause for concern.
(Spoilers ahoy.)
It was Supreme Court Justice Verna (Debra Mooney)? Because she was so wracked with guilt about being complicit in the election rigging and fearful of being exposed before she dies? Ok, sure. And Fitz (Tony Goldwyn), upon hearing her confession, takes away her oxygen mask and pins her down until she codes? Well, you would have hoped for better from Fitz, but he doesn't want to lose his presidency.
The breakneck pace at which "Scandal" steers through its sharp plot turns is one of the things that makes...

Do not miss the next three episodes of Scandal.
That's the message executive producer Betsy Beers conveyed following the reveal that Scandal's secret cabal of five — Olivia (Kerry Washington), Cyrus (Jeff Perry), Mellie (Belamy Young), Verna (Debra Mooney) and Hollis (Gregg Henry) — may have rigged the election that put Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) into power. The explosion that nearly got Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes) the death penalty? A way to cover it all up... apparently. Below, Beers dishes on what's in store for the five and how they'll handle their David Rosen (Joshua Malina) and Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield) problem. Get the scoop:

After this week's episode of Scandal, I find myself asking one question: If you're anyone other than Cyrus Beene, is it possible to keep a secret from Olivia Pope?
"All Roads Lead to Fitz" was a game-changer in terms of who's trusting whom. Old alliances were renewed, new alliances were formed and all of it was done for one purpose: protecting Fitz.
Tonight's episode picked up immediately where "Beltway Unbuckled" left off and one thing's for certain: Hollis Doyle might be the greasiest slimeball since President Charles Logan on 24.
I'm not sure if he's the reason they had a mess to cover up or if they've all gotten their positions because of a mess he uncovered, but Hollis is not a man to trust. He is, however, a man to keep very, very close by. Like the saying goes, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer." Hollis knows everything...

Amandes is set to play Governor Reston, whose first lady will be played by Brenda Strong, reports The Hollywood Reporter. ABC's "Scandal" will feature former "Desperate Housewife" Brenda Strong as a guest star this fall, and if she's contacting Olivia Pope, chances are her character is at least a little desperate this time as well.
Strong and fellow "Everwood" alum Tom Amandes will guest-star in an episode of the ABC drama in the fall. (Amandes' casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, while TV Guide broke the news on Strong). He'll play the governor of a state, with Strong as his wife. There's a chance both could extend their roles beyond one episode.
(A third "Everwood" veteran, Debra Mooney, will also recur on "Scandal" this season. There's no word on whether her appearances will overlap with those of Amandes and Strong.)
Just how they come into contact with Olivia (Kerry Washington) is being kept secret. But it's safe to assume it's not because everything is going swimmingly.

Debra Mooney has been tapped for a recurring role on Scandal Season 2.
According to TV Line, the veteran actress (Everwood, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist) will appear on multiple episodes of the ABC series as a Supreme Court Justice.
No details have been released regarding exactly how she'll fit into upcoming storylines, but it's not hard to imagine considering the setting and premise of this Shonda Rhimes-produced drama.
Scandal, which will also enlist Brenda Strong as a guest star this fall, returns on September 27.

Olivia Pope has always fought for justice for her clients and now she might have to fight for justice and fight a Justice.
TVLine is reporting that Debra Mooney has signed on for a recurring role on ABC political fixer drama Scandal this season. Mooney will be playing a Supreme Court Justice in multiple episodes of the show, though nothing about her character has been revealed. She could just as easily become an asset to Olivia as she could a detriment, not even accounting for the possibility of her becoming a client or a key component in the search for the truth behind Quinn Perkins.
Debra Mooney might be best known to TV audiences as Edna Harper on The WB's medical dramedy Everwood, a role she played for the show's duration. The actress has made appearances on Weeds, ER, Bones, and The Mentalist, while Scandal will be her third character...
