- TriviaMatlock was asked, grudgingly, to return to the Pistols during the 1977 sessions for "Never Mind the Bollocks - Here's the Sex Pistols" to fill in for Sid Vicious, who seems not to have known even the rudiments of the bass guitar, and was chosen by MacLaren mostly for his looks and attitude. In consequence, on nearly all the tracks of the album, it is Matlock who provides the bass.
