Plot: All drugs and alcohol are illegal except on the day of the Binge. Several years after their first Binge, best friends Hags, Andrew, Sarah, and Kimi face the realities of young adulthood as the annual Binge Day is moved to Christmas Eve. Amidst the chaos, Hags plans a proposal to Sarah while Andrew deals with his rocky relationships with his family and his girlfriend Kimmi. Will they survive this holiday season?
Review: There is something for everyone, of that I am sure. From gifts to music, toys to movies, we live in a wondrous age where whatever you can think of likely exists, and there is an audience for it. Licorice-flavored condoms? Sure, why not. Pistachio mouthwash? Go for it. Salty chocolate balls? You go, Glen Coco. If you like it, I applaud that you are living your best life. But, despite all of those well-wishes, I am not...

Exclusive: What We Do In The Shadows and Workaholics producer Kyle Newacheck has teamed with music video vet Brandon Dermer for the sci-fi dramedy I’m Totally Fine. Set to lead the project are Jillian Bell and Natalie Morales.
I’m Totally Fine follows a Vanessa (Bell), a woman in mourning who takes a solo trip to clear her head after the death of her friend (Morales). However, Vanessa’s self-care vacation plans change when she’s met with a situation out of this world.
“We were making a movie that mirrored what we had all collectively been experiencing over 2020, without being literal. The metaphor of it is 2020 and being powerless – all of a sudden everything got taken away from us as we knew it, everything changed,” Newacheck told Deadline.
The film, also produced by Jonas Dolkart, features Newacheck, Harvey Guillen and Karen Maruyama as well.

"War has rules, mud wrestling has rules -- politics has no rules."
--Ross Perot
This quote opens the new movie The Campaign, directed by Jay Roach of the Austin Powers and Meet the Parents series. Scripted by Chris Henchy (Land of the Lost) and Shawn Harwell (Eastbound & Down), this raunchy political comedy takes Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis through an escalating battle of wills guided by the Perot quote.
Though the humor is tongue-in-cheek, there is no pretense at subtlety in this film. Dan Aykroyd and John Lithgow play the Motch brothers, parodies of real-life industrialists the Koch brothers. Hoping to profit from the passage of unprecedented labor and environmental laws in Congress, the pair decide to back Zach Galifianakis' Marty Huggins in a race against previously unopposed candidate Cam Brady (Will Ferrell). Thus begins a rivalry that takes the pair through such incidents as baby punching and snake dancing.

Chicago – Will Ferrell makes several new proclamations loud and clear: he’s a comic dream-team duo with Zach Galifianakis in “The Campaign,” punching a baby and then a dog are seriously funny and real-life politics should take a lesson from this over-the-top smear campaign. Also, you need one supporting Korean weapon and there’s nearly no such thing as a 100% comedy that delivers on 100% of its comedy.
Rating: 4.0/5.0
Starting and ending with what works best in this “R”-rated comedy, this and any “The Campaign” review can boil down to this: This film would have flopped without marrying Ferrell with Galifianakis and won’t simply because it did.
If you see this for no other reason than to witness this duo, these jokesmiths are as natural together as Boca burgers for a vegetarian. Seasoned comedy director Jay Roach (“Austin Powers,” “Meet the Parents”) wouldn’t have had it any other way.

We’ve made it through another election season, and it was quite a nasty one ( at least here in Missouri ). After we’ve cleaned up all the mud that was slung and before it starts all over again for the big national elections ( with the conventions and debates ) let’s have a few laughs at the whole process. That’s just what The Campaign aims for. What’s interesting about this late Summer satire is that it brings together talents from several different comedy film camps ( much as The Expendables teamed up several action stars ). Helming the hysterics is Jay Roach, perhaps best known for Meet The Parents and its first sequel along with the Austin Powers trilogy ( he’s made two acclaimed real-life political films for HBO: ” Game Change” and ” Recount ” ). One of this film’s candidates is played by Will Farrell, a member of the media-dubbed” frat pack...
