In a recent interview with People Magazine, she expressed her enthusiasm for revisiting Sue Sylvester, hinting at the hilarious possibilities of seeing the character 10 years older. Having spoken with Lynch many times over the years, it’s clear she’s always taken pride in Glee’s cultural and social impact, especially its universal appeal. But what made the show so special? For Lynch, it’s the show’s message of acceptance and love. (Click on the media bar below to hear Jane Lynch) https://www.hollywoodoutbreak.

Weakest Link –Pictured: Jane Lynch — (Photo by: Chris Haston/NBC) Before conquering Hollywood, Jane Lynch spent her early career in Chicago, where she spent time at The Second City and Annoyance Theater, two institutions well known for their emphasis on improvisation. Lynch’s improv abilities have served her well, especially when she was cast in several of Christopher Guest’s largely improvised mockumentaries, and they continue to help her in her latest endeavor: hosting NBC’s new version of Weakest Link. Game show hosts thrive on being able to react to things on the fly, and Lynch, who previously hosted Hollywood Game Night, says that running a game show is a skill that seems to come naturally to her. I’m going to tell you something that will instantly rattle a millennial body to its core: “Glee,” the Fox musical dramedy that became a phenomenon before becoming a dark cultural tale, premiered 15 years ago, on May 19, 2009.
To make you feel slightly better about the passage of time, that date is a bit of a cheat: Because Fox suspected it had an honest-to-goodness hit on its hands, the network premiered the first episode after the “American Idol” Season 8 finale in May, before beginning the full season a few months later in September.
Still, May 19 was the day the world first was re-reminded of the wonder of “Don’t Stop Believin,’” witnessed the instantly iconic combo of cringe and charisma that was Rachel Berry/Lea Michele, and considered the shocking declaration that someone could be both an athlete and a singer.

Only Murders In The Building Heads to Hollywood in New Season 4 Teaser - Main Image
Disney has dropped the first teaser trailer of the Emmy-winning mystery comedy series Only Murders in the Building:
The trailer confirms what we already know: Season 4 will see our amateur true crime podcasters Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez) hit the streets of Los Angeles, as they find a studio interested in bringing Only Murders to the big screen.
In the cliffhanger finale of Season 3, our amateur sleuths join an after-party to celebrate the triumphant opening night of Oliver’s murder mystery musical Death Razzle Dazzle. Not long after they close the case of Ben Glenroy’s elevator accident, they will be confronted soon by the “hot, fresh, dead body” of Charles’s friend and long-time stunt double Sazz Pataki (played by Jane Lynch).

The cast of Only Murders in the Building has become more and more star-studded over the years, and as it approaches its fourth season, the starpower has gone through the roof. The third season recruited Meryl Streep, who remains on board for Season 4, Paul Rudd, Jesse Williams, Ashley Park and more. The murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), who played Charles-Haden Savage’s stunt double on Brazzos at the end of Season 3 provided the cliffhanger to transition into a fourth installment.

"Only Murders in the Building" has earned pretty much universal acclaim for its first three seasons, including an 8 out of 10 /Film review from Josh Spiegel for season 3. It's also been responsible for Meryl Streep's return to TV, a weirdly catchy original Steve Martin tune (or two), and an official companion podcast called "Only Murders in the Pod." Plus, of course, the show has won four Primetime Emmys and counting. So what's next for the series? In a word: Hollywood.

In an interview with People at the Alzheimer’s Association Magic of Music Gala on May 9, the actress, 63, shared that she’s still going to be a presence in Season 4.

Hulu has big things coming down the pipe for Only Murders in the Building. Steve Martin said this week that the group is about halfway done filming, and that the cast of the upcoming season 4 will be “star-studded.”
Only Murders has made headlines in previous seasons for its glitzy guest stars, which have included Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Jesse Williams, Jane Lynch, Amy Schumer, Cara Delevingne and more. Season four is set to include new characters from Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis, Kumail Nanjiani and Molly Shannon.
It’s unclear if Martin’s comments were referring to even more not-yet-named stars who will join the cast, but he told People this week that he and his co-stars believe season four “could be one of our best seasons” (though he added that “they’re all flawless”).

The Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter is putting the finishing touches on its program for the upcoming Magic of Music Gala at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City on May 9.
The fundraiser, designed to honor “Alzheimer’s heroes,” will help support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association and the local California Southland community. Jane Lynch and Kate Flannery will serve as the night’s co-hosts — alongside gala chairs and business leaders Peter and Camille Goldstein — and the pair will also perform songs from their “anti-cabaret,” Two Lost Souls. Honorees for the event include the 2014 film Still Alice, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, as well as Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger and hosts Lisa Foxx and Valentine.
“We’re excited to co-host this year’s Magic of Music Gala and perform songs from our cabaret show,” said Lynch and Flannery. “Alzheimer’s is a devastating disease that deserves our critical attention.
