We have some bad news, The Resident fans.
According to a new report by TV Line, one of Chastain's own is about to go through a horrifying ordeal.
If you watch The Resident online, you know Nic (Emily VanCamp) and Conrad (Matt Czuchry) recently discovered they were expecting their first child.
Well, in true TV fashion, Nic is about to find herself, and her unborn child caught up in a "violent incident," according to the bombshell report.
"The shiny-happy times won’t last long," the outlet claims.
"Rather, both Nic’s life and the baby’s will be put into danger due to a random, violent incident."
"And the fallout from this event will bring back to Chastain one of Nic’s best friends, Billie Sutton (played by Jessica Lucas)."
This raises several questions, and we're not exactly happy about the series putting one of its best characters in harm's way,...

"This is the future... She's our secret, no one will know." High Octane Pictures has released an official trailer for a sci-fi action thriller titled Rumble Strip. It takes place in a near future when humanity has colonized other planets and destroyed all of Earth, but one corporation uses prisoners to mine and ship materials to the stars. The plot focuses on one ex-mercenary - when his love is kidnapped, he must save her from Earth's tyrannical leader, who he was also fathered by. It's written by, directed by, and stars Jack Littman. With a cast including Anna Khaja, Mark Adair-Rios, John Bader, & Paris Benjamin. It looks some friends made a film with absolutely no budget, which is not easy to pull off, but still seems rough around the edges. The final title card is rad, and the Mad Max-esque concept is cool, but not so sure this will be worth a watch.

FlashForward is getting awesome, right? This week's episode of FlashForward, 137 Sekunden, will continue to peel back layers by introducing a captured Nazi who knows something about the 'event' that caused the FlashForward. I have a definite soft spot for Nazis in my SciFi, maybe I've played too much Castle Wolfenstein, who knows. Also, this week is the debut of Gabrielle Union as Demetri's fiance. After last week's affirmation that the worst case scenario of his lacking of a FlashForward is chillingly possible we can't wait to see what she has to say. Here are four clips from FlashForward, "137 Sekunden," which airs this Thursday at 8:00pm est on ABC.
