The momentous life and tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales, seems to never grow old for Hollywood. From “The Crown” to the upcoming film “Spencer,” three actresses are currently lined up to play the People’s Princess — and several more have tried their hand at playing her in the past. From Kristen Stewart to Emma Corrin, here are nine ladies who have — or will — play Lady Di.
Emma Corrin – “The Crown”
Corrin has been cast as Lady Diana Spencer in Season 4 of Netflix’s royal drama and has already been spotted dressed in the princess’ famous pink polka dot dress and matching hat. The new season will premiere in November.
Elizabeth Debicki – “The Crown”
For Seasons 5 and 6, Debicki will step in as an older version of the famed Princess of Wales and former wife of Prince Charles before she died tragically in a 1997 car crash.

"I can offer you, like, more magic than any mushroom ever picked." The Orchard has unveiled an official trailer for an indie drama titled The Party's Just Beginning, the feature directorial debut of Scottish actor-filmmaker Karen Gillan, who wrote the screenplay as well. This first premiered at the Glasgow and Tribeca Film Festivals earlier this year, and will be available to watch this fall. The Party's Just Beginning also stars Gillan as a woman named Liusaidh, who's struggling to deal with stress and all the feelings after her friend takes his own life. It's a powerful, darkly comedic film about loss, grief, and survivor's guilt. The cast includes Lee Pace, Matthew Beard, Paul Higgins, Rachel Jackson, Siobhan Redmond, Jamie Quinn, and Lesley Harcourt. This seems a bit wild & crazy but actually looks like an impressive debut. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Karen Gillan's The Party's Just Beginning, from...

A Separation (Sony) This drama from Iran won the 2011 Best Foreign Film Oscar, telling the story of a couple who file for a legal separation, with the wife pushing for a divorce. He won’t leave his Alzheimer’s-afflicted father behind, while she is wanting to take their young daughter with her to the United States. After a series of misunderstandings, threats and legal actions, the couple find that there is more than just their marriage that’s on the line. Hyper-realistic to a fault, reminiscent of the neo-realist films that came out of post-ww II Europe, but also repressive and redundant in the extreme, with the characters seeming to throw the same temper tantrum for two hours straight while the story, meanwhile, seems stalled. Wildly overpraised film is a real litmus test, with viewers seeming to be staunch defenders or equally impassioned detractors. It did win an Oscar,...
