1. Dune: Part Two (2024)

PG-13 | 166 min | Action, Adventure, Drama

79 Metascore

Paul Atreides unites with Chani and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.

Director: Denis Villeneuve | Stars: Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem

Votes: 370,104

While much of the original 'Dune' cast returns for 'Dune: Part Two,' the biggest buzz has undoubtedly been around Austin Butler, who joins the project as the antagonist, Feyd-Rautha. I’ll admit, I was curious if Butler could pull off the terrifying, sadistic villain, but one look at him in costume quickly changed that. We also get the addition of Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Anya Taylor-Joy in this second installment, making the star power almost as big as the sandworms on screen. Some fans are going so far to call 'Dune: Part Two' one of the greatest science fiction films ever made, and if early reviews are any indication, I’ll be surprised if I don’t feel the same.'

2. The Regime (2024)

TV-MA | 54 min | Drama

Kate Winslet stars in this limited series as the Chancellor of an unnamed Central European nation that is unraveling behind the palace walls.

Stars: Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts, Guillaume Gallienne, Danny Webb

Votes: 8,553

I’m fairly certain that Kate Winslet was born to play the Chancellor of a crumbling European nation—if not just for the accent, then for the expertly tailored wardrobe. "The Regime" comes to us from the executive producers of "Succession," which basically makes it synonymous with “gold.” Could this be the token Sunday night HBO series we’ve been waiting to add back into our calendars? I sure hope so.

3. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)

PG-13 | 115 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

47 Metascore

Two ancient titans, Godzilla and Kong, clash in an epic battle as humans unravel their intertwined origins and connection to Skull Island's mysteries.

Director: Adam Wingard | Stars: Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle

Votes: 38,894

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the return of blockbuster monster movies!? 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' marks the return of 'Godzilla vs. Kong' (2021) director Adam Wingard, delving even deeper into the history of the mighty Titans and the mysteries of Skull Island — with plenty of awesome battle sequences in between. While I wait not-so-patiently for confirmation of a second season of "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," this is at the top of the watchlist.

4. Palm Royale (2024– )

TV-MA | Drama

An ambitious woman schemes to secure her seat at America's most exclusive table: Palm Beach high society circa 1969.

Stars: Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb

Votes: 4,535

If "Gossip Girl" and "The White Lotus" had a baby, it would be "Palm Royale." Set in 1969 in Palm Beach, the series follows Kristen Wiig as Maxine, a socialite on a fake-it-till-you-make-it journey into high society, flanked by A-listers like Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and comedy legend Carole Burnett. And, as if I wasn’t excited enough about the sure-to-be whodunit story, "Big Little Lies" costume designer Alix Friedberg is styling the series. I’m sensing an influx of “add to cart” in my future...

5. Challengers (2024)

R | 131 min | Drama, Romance, Sport

83 Metascore

Tashi, a former tennis prodigy turned coach, turned her husband into a champion. But to overcome a losing streak, he needs to face his ex-best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend.

Director: Luca Guadagnino | Stars: Zendaya, Mike Faist, Josh O'Connor, Darnell Appling

Votes: 5,069

Think you’re getting your fill of Zendaya after 'Dune: Part Two' this spring? Think again. Enter 'Challengers,' a film which seems to be about tennis and a love triangle on the surface, but has an intense psychological, grief-ridden underbelly. The project has 'Call Me By Your Name' director Luca Guadagnino at the helm, so if this is anything like that, I am prepared to be wonderfully, emotionally destroyed.

6. Vanderpump Villa (2024– )

TV-14 | 44 min | Drama, Reality-TV

Follows the hand-picked crew of Lisa Vanderpump's opulent French villa as they live and cooperate to satisfy each extravagant want of their affluent visitors.

Stars: Lisa Vanderpump, Hannah Fouch, Eric Funderwhite, Gabriella Sanon

Votes: 184

You’re welcome, reality TV fans. Or should I say, de rien? Lisa Vanderpump is taking her empire global in her new series following the staff of her French villa as they live and work together 24/7, serving guests and heaps of drama long the way. Villa features an entirely new cast, so even if you aren’t a loyal watcher of "Vanderpump Rules," you can jump on this bandwagon no problem. The trailer is giving "Below Deck" meets "Vanderpump Rules" ... get the popcorn ready.
