- The Japanese version is 25 minutes shorter than the original; while the song Kannaa Nidurinchara has been cut, several violent scenes censored from the Indian theatrical release have been reinstated. This also includes the addition of a new scene where Baahubali briefly fights a few Kalakeyas before fleeing with Kattappa. The intermission card has been removed and the background music has been modified to match the scene. The colors of the giant head have been suitably modified to make it look more realistic.
